Students were greeted by the CT and Tas they entered. 11:54 Tlead the students through a brief warm up activty.* 11:56 _ Using a PowerPoint T presented the lesson objectives. 11:57. Tintroduced FITT concept** 11:59. Tintroduced the first class activity ~ “Challenge Trivia Fitness”. The video activity showed 10 trivia questions(odd laws around the country) with 3 answers. Students indicated their answer choice by performing the indicated exercise. As students performed the exercise the T reinforced techniques and offered positive feedback to students for ther intensity and proper techniques.*** 12:04 A short break was taken forthe students to rest/drink. During the break T indicated that two of the fitness principles discussed at the start of class (Intensity and Type) were addressed in the actvity.**** 12:09 At the conclusion, T asked the students what types of activities (strength and cardio) were involved in the activity 12:10 Asa cooldown activity, T showed a video which took students through a “Full Body Flexibility” routine (each stretch was demonstrated and performed for 20 sec) During the video T shared some encouragement and reinforcement of proper techniques.***** 12:15. T discussed the importance of flexibility and the need for pre and post activity stretching 12:16 Treviewed the FITT lesson content.**#*** ‘This class did a great job of participating in the activity. Not always easy in virtual classes. ‘**Maybe have the students try to guess/identify what each of the concepts mean before showing them the answers/definitions, *** Very good positive/personal feedback ‘****Maybe ask the students to identify which principles were being addressed instead of telling them. ******Good voice over interaction, ******Consider using an assessment activity to determine student understanding instead of giving the information. ‘Comment on Positive Aspects: I elt the lesson overall went smooth. The students were able to learn something new, the majority of the students said they have never heard of the FITT principle. | was able to provide good specific feedback ‘and guide the students through the videos. Comment on Areas for Improvement: I rushed through the small lecture portion of the lesson. | also could have let the students have more interaction when learning the FITT principle by allowing them to try and guess what each component ‘means. | ust put the information in font of them and read off of the slide. In the future | could have them use the ZOOM chat or speak out loud to try and test themselves. | also should have incorporated some sort of assessment at the end instead of just the review and closure.
