Sri Sidda Venkateswara Rao, Hon’ble President

“If information alone is education, today’s students require no assistance at all to

make strides in their fields. Technological devices can be their best source of learning.
But there is a lot to learn on the part of student besides academic information.
Character building ought to be one of the cardinal objectives of education. I give
importance to education based on character”

Sri Sidda Venkata Surya Prakasa Rao, Hon’ble Vice – President

“Since India lives in villages the rural students have a greater accountability to
contribute to our country. For this, they should become strong educationally and
professionally. Today’s students need cultivate life skills besides the academic ones.”

“Organizations can stand in the forefront of success only when they invite employees
possessing impressive human values. Success on the part of an individual employee does
not simply mean the currency one receives. It also means the employee’s determined
dedication to stand by the vision of the organization. Value-based career life is the
ultimate achievement one ought to aspire for. I put all my efforts to prove that the RISE
students do inculcate among themselves the right human values besides professional
talents.”

technical human resources in the campus sharpen students and their skills. They thereby, shall be sure to make
the greatest possible strides both in their career and life.

About Department:

The department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2011 with an intake of 60 students.
Our under graduate program educates the students to go for in depth study of manufacturing, thermal, design
and other subjects which help them to serve the society in best possible manner where ever they go. The
department is enriched with highly qualified, experienced and committed faculty members. The department also
has a very unique distinction of hosting a student run society with the name of RISE YUVA. The department has
good infrastructure and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories such as strength of materials, fluid mechanics
and hydraulic machinery, manufacturing technology, heat transfer, thermal engineering, machine tools,
metrology & measurements, material science, cad/cam, engineering workshop lab.
