2) In case of bending of conduit, consider to take enough radius. If necessary,
install pull box in the middle of conduit pass.
a) internal radius for bending shall be more than 6 times of pipe diameter. Due to structure issue,
further bending will allow if conduit side is below 25mm.

■Embedded Conduit-1
When the conduit required to be embedded in concrete floor or etc., consider the structure strength.

1. For embedded conduit in slab, max outside diameter shall be 1/4 of slab thickness (Max 32mmDia)

2. Concrete top up on conduit shall be more than 30mm

3. Cut the pipe vertically to the pipe centre. Remover bur on pipe by leamer, but extra careful to don’t damage coating

4. If many conduit need to embedded in concrete, consider the structure stlength to maintain and
each conduit shall be keep 30mm distance for enough concrete to pour

5. In case of double re-bar, the conduit shall be laid between top and bottom re-bar.
In case of single re-bar, the conduit shall be laid in centre of wall or floor

6. Conduit location shall be decided with co-ordinating with duct opening and opening reinforcement re-bar

7. In principal, beam penetration is prohibited, unless approval is obtained.

8. Metal conduit shall be tighten with re-bar by steel wire to avoid moving by concrete pouring
Fixing distance is max 2m. But the fixing shall be arrange with parallel re-bar and cross re-bar

9. In principal, the crossing of conduit is up to E32 and E25.

10. Outlet box and conduit shall be fixed well to avoid that box to move up.

Notes:
1.PARALLEL ARRANGEMENT OF WIRES:
Take care not to include electromagnetic unbalance inside the conduit pipe when wires are provided in parallel
in an AC circuit.
2.BEND OF PIPE:
When pipe is bent, pipe section should have no serious deformation and the bending
radius should exceed 6 times of the pipe internal diameter.
3.EARTHING RESISTANCE OF PIPE:
Electric resistance between the fartherst end of metal conduit and earthing wire directly connected to earthing
plate should not be more than 2 ohm.
4.ISOLATION DISTANCE FROM GAS PIPE, ETC.:
Do not encounter low tension wiring directly with weak current wiring, metal water pipe, air conditioning duct, gas
pipe,etc.
5.CONNECTION OF PANEL AND CONDUIT PIPE:
When panel casing does not has any components in it, conduit pipes should be connected to the panel. (This
prevents attachement of cut dust, etc.)
