 1. INTRODUCTION

In this guide we are going to practice the writing of shorts paragraphs, grammar, basic
vocabulary and to practices with an interview our listening and speaking.

Using these items in daily activities is easier to learn.

 2. COMPOSITIONS

2.1. Composition # 1 Laura Bibiana:

I am Laura Bibiana Urueña García. I am from Colombia; I was born and lives in the Bogota
city and I am 26 years old. I live with my mom, my older brother, mi cat “Kin” and my dog
“Maya”. My mother´s name is Consuelo and my brother´s name is Daniel.

I am currently working in the IPS of CAFAM located in La Floresta, I have been working
there for 4 years. My activities are scheduling and billing medical appointments, admitting
emergency’s patients and orienting the patient on health issues. It is a work of great dedication
and patience.

In mi free times I like to watch movies and series. Going for a walk is one of my favorite
activities as well as going out to eat. One of my hobbies is watching make-up videos, as I love
make-up. I usually have drink coffee, I rarely exercise and I hardly ever drink alcohol.

2.2. Composition # 2 Juan Guillermo:

About me

My name is Juan Guillermo Rojas Caviedes. I’m 29 years old. I’m Colombian. I currently
live in Bogota, but I was born in Garzón Huila. I’m the second child of three sons. My sisters are
called Diana and Laura and my mom is called Luz. They still live in Garzón. I’m married since 3
years ago. My husband is called Omar. We have two cats named Tobias and Minerva

I´m sales executive in EK Hotel, a luxury hotel. My job consists in offer to all kind of
companies our hotel for short stays and events, I review e-mails and contact clients. Before this
pandemic I visited these clients.

 In my free time I usually embroider, it’s something I do since very young, also I love to listen
to music and dancing. On vacations I like to Travel specially to cities with hot climates.

4.1. JUAN GUILLERMO

Aprendí sobre: vocabulario básico de inglés y sobre escribir párrafos pequeños.
Lo que más me gustó fue: empezar a perderle el miedo a hablarlo
Lo que más se me dificultó fue: entender las actividades que incluían escuchar audios en
ingles
Todavía tengo dudas acerca de: el uso de adjetivos y la conjugación de verbos
Debo mejorar en: ser más cuidadoso al momento de responder preguntas y en pronunciación.

4.2. LAURA BIBIANA

Aprendí sobre: nuevo vocabulario, formas de escribir una oracion. Hacer uso de los
advervios de frecuencia
Lo que más me gustó fue: darme esa posibilidad de aprender algo nuevo y que me va a servir
demasiado en mi vida personal y professional
Lo que más se me dificultó fue: la Plataforma en algunas ocasiones es un poco enredada de
usar, entonces se suele uno confundir
Todavía tengo dudas acerca de: El uso de los tiempos verbales
Debo mejorar en: utilizar adecuadamente los signos de puntuacion, y conjugacion
