Problem/Question

Which activator
makes the best
slime?
Hypothosis
I believe that the slime with the
shaving foam and saline solution
will make the best slime. I think
the shaving foam will give a
smooth consistancy and the
saline solution will create the
best reaction with the glue to
create the best slime to play with.

After making each slime, there was a clear
favorite. The fluffy slime made with shaving
cream came together quickly and precisely, as
the recipe stated. The saline slime needed a bit

more saline than the recipe called for but still
came together easily. The borax slime almost
instantly had too much activator and turned
rubbery. To soften the slime, we added some
shaving cream and made it more pliable. After
adding nearly 11 tbsp, the magic liquid slime
still had not come together. We had to add
saline in before it actually started to come
together. Even after kneading, it still was sticky
and not entirely together. We did not want to
over-activate the slime. We gave up on it.
Overall, the fluffy slime will be our go-to slime
to make from now on.
Conclusion
In conclusion, there was an obvious favorite as to which slime
was the favorite activator, we used to make the slime. The
fluffy slime using a saline activator, and shaving cream in the
process, was overwhelmingly chosen. In my hypothesis, I
posited that this would be the favorite due to the shaving
cream being in it. Also, that the saline would be the most
effective activator, both thoughts proved correct. The saline
brought the slime together with the greatest ease, and the
shaving cream made light, fluffy slime that wasn't overly
sticky. I do have one question: would adding shaving cream
to slime no matter the activator bring the slime to a better
state that would change the choice in which activator was the
best?
