Analysis:

The trailer begins with the production logos for the people
who produced the film. There is a heartbeat sound in the
background and there is a low angle big close up of the man
taking a photo. He has scars on his face but he seems to be
wearing a suit so it's an enigma because we don't
understand what has happened to him. There is then an
over the shoulder shot and we get a full shot of him wearing
a grey suit with a blue t-shirt. We aren't too sure where he is
but the weather seems to be
sunny and in a normal location. The music starts to build up and
we get a voiceover of a woman speaking to the man. There is a
shot reverse shot as we hear the man and the woman speaking to
each other, they could be in a relationship but still uncertain. We
get a shot of him sitting next to a fire and he is playing around with
a clock in his hand but he does say that everything he remembers
just “fades”. This gives us more information about the man and we
start to get to know more about the story.
Again there is a shot reverse shot of the man and the women
speaking, we are also introduced to the man's wife as that is
apparently the last thing he remembers. We get shots that seem to
be flashbacks because there is a close up of glass smashing on
the floor. There are fast cuts of his wife as he tells us that he
remembers her dying.

We see this suspicious man again who seems to be a friend of the

main character but we aren't quite sure. He wears glasses and has a mustache seems to be
quite geeky and has conversations about a guy who the main character wants to catch.
There are then cross cuts of the main character running around with a gun in his hand but he
still has the same suit on. Whilst this is going on there are flashes of black that appear. Then
we see the main character with the same woman but it seems to be in a more
compassionate way as she is standing behind him and he has no t-shirt on.
Then the main character is running in a house with a gun in his hand. There is low key
lighting and we can only see his shadow running around discreetly. There is close up of the
main character shooting and it cuts straight to black. The music
begins to build and we again start to see the flashes of black that
last longer in between action. There is black and white shots that
seem to be flashbacks of the main character fighting and he looks
back at photos of himself. There is a close up of the women sat on
the sofa with blood all over her face, and the editing quickly moves
to a medium close up of the man asking “who is he?”. The editing
begins to quicker and there more action starts to happen, as it
seems like the man is on a hunt for whoever did this.

As the man is on a hunt we get an indication that the woman

who he is with isn't trusted. We get a mid shot of her sitting in
her car with a necklace looking very serious but still with blood
on her nose. It seems like the woman is stalking the man as he
is out looking for this mysterious person. We get another cross
cut of the man fighting with someone and the music in the
background is building up getting louder and louder. The man is
wearing no top and the other person in the shot is wearing a
black t-shirt so it seems like his enemy. The colour black
stereotypically means an enemy or in some type of gang
so this is why we assume it is one of his rivals. We hear
the sound of a thud and there is a big close up of the
enemy hitting his head against the wall. In the
background we hear the sound of the women speaking
about if he does get revenge he isn’t going to remember
it. We get a close up of her speaking to him and she is
still wearing a silver chain and her lip still has a cut on it.
We are now starting to see a different side to her in the
trailer because the way she is acting shows that she
might be his enemy after all.
There is a close up of a man, he is face to face with the main character. His nose is busted
open and his lips are pouring with blood, he looks at the main character in disgust when he
asks him “who did this to you?”. There is low key lighting of the two of them and it ends with
the other man responding saying “you did” this is an enigma because we don't know what
they are speaking about. This reinforces that the main character doesn't remember anything
that he does. The trailer ends with a low angle mid shot of the main character with a gun in
his hands. It is a low angle shot because it shows that he is the person with all the power. He
is still wearing the same suit that he has worn all the way through the trailer and there is
natural lighting from the window next to him. When we hear the gunshot it flashes to black
and the title of the film is shown. This leaves it on a cliffhanger
for the audience because we don't know who it was on the floor.

After the title there is a man

narrating saying “you don't know
who you are '' and there is a mid
shot of the main character looking
at his tattoos in the reflection in
the mirror. This gives us an
indication of what happened to his wife and it reinforces the
purpose of the trailer that is to get people excited about the
film.
