ART APPRECIATION
DIRECTION: Create an art (object, symbols, a thing) that is your product of your imagination
through recycled materials. Explain the meaning of your obra.

I am an ordinary person but not simple, though these two words seem to be
synonymous they are still distinct from one another. A simple person for me is a person that is
contented with what she looks and an ordinary person is a person that she will treat herself just
what other ordinary person do.  I am not simple because I am conscious in terms of my physical
appearance. I want to be presentable in the eyes of the people I encountered.

If I will compare myself to an object I will choose a coconut tree. A coconut tree
because when a strong wind comes I believed that I will just go to the flow but still keep
standing. I know I am a strong person. I know I can handle whatever challenges that will come
because I trust myself and I trust God. Living in this world in almost twenty years. I have
experienced many things, the hardship of being a student, the bitterness of losing someone you
love, the pain of knowing that your friend betrays you, the disappointment of having a broken
family, etc. all those things are always my instrument as a reference in facing challenges, It
became my inspiration, thinking that I have faced already a lot of problems why not facing the
future problem? I know I have still a family, a true friend and a God that will help me through
giving advices and support me whatever my decision is.

Maybe many people believe that I don’t have a problem because I keep on smiling
in front of them but the truth is I am fighting inside. I will be happy as long as I know I must be
happy. I don’t want someone to be affected by my act. Let’s just say I am a pretender but no one
can’t blame me because I have my own reason I must be like this.
