A few weeks after the lockdown was lifted, the Leo Club of Colombo Knights wasted no time in initiating this project to the masses, arming our own people to Beat Covid. We, the Leo Club of Colombo Knights with the collaboration of Dehiwala Police Station and Dehiwala - Mount Lavinia Municipal Council distribut- ed Hand Sanitizers, Gloves and Face Masks to public on the 13th of December 2020 from 8.00 am onwards near the Dehiwala Police Station. We provided these precautionary equipment as a support to continue the proceedings of the newly opened Karag- ampitiya public market. ; i"Chrccediag othe Even tte ‘The festive seasonis well and truly underway. Christmas is a time to be merry, in keeping with the season, this article looks at the knights Christmas party , “Christmas with Knights”. A special Christmas party for knights was held with the participation of knights members on 27th of December 2020. It was a day of Christmas celebration and an opportunity for all the newly joined Leos. The installation of the Leo Lion Club of Colombe Knights was also held on this day. New members of Colombo knights and as well as the past members joined together for this special Christmas party, put on by the Leo club of Colombo Knights. Many Lions participated in this event as the chief guests to grace the occasion. The party was successfully conducted at the Dampe Village Hotel, Piliyandala by the project chairperson Leo Lion Tharun Sankalana, the Vice President of Leo Club of Colombo knights. Throughout the event we were able to enhance the bonds within the club members as well as to hold the Leo Lion Club inauguration ceremony. For those who completed the course, they were officially recognized as the Leos with awe-inspiring potential and graduated ds the leaders of tomorrow.
