Ans2. On 8th Ziqad 5th Hijri, the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.)started the task. He appointed his 10 Companions(R.A) ten yards of land. For 20 days his hands and those other three thousand Companions(R.A), worked day and night this difficult task. There was a lack of tools and food for three days at times and they had to work at night also. The respected Companions(R.A) kept on working and reciting martial verses. During the digging a huge rock came and Prophet (S.A.W) break it with his spade.

Ans3. There were three points of the results of the Battle of Ahzab: 1. Holy Prophet S.A.W had confused the enemy by digging the trenches. This strategy was such that the enemy, in spite of wishing to do so, could not continue with siege and had to flee. 2. This was a decisive battle because the Jews failed in their efforts to defeat the Muslims and did not dare to engage in an open war with them again. 3. In the Battle of Uhud, the Muslims had not been steadfast and had suffered as a result . But in Battle of Ahzab they reminded determined and resolute and won a glorious victory.
