DIRECTIONS: Make a list of at least 10 Teaching Principles that your group will keep in
mind when you do your microteaching teaching.

1. Teacher must be enthusiastic, committed and have mastery of the subject matter or
content.

2. Information must be presented accurately and efficiently by the teacher and


learners responsibility is to learn.

3. Teacher must provide clear objectives before the discussion start.

4. Effective teaching is a process of enculturating students into a set of social norms


and ways of working.

5. Effective teaching must be planned and conducted from the learners' point of
view.

6. Good teacher promotes a climate of caring and trust and provides encourage and
support.

7. Clear explanatory and timely feedback to student is important for learning.

8. Learning is situated within multiple social contexts.

9. Learning is based on context, so generalizing learning to new contexts is not


spontaneous but instead needs to be facilitated.

10. Teachers' expectations about their students affect students opportunities to kearn,
their motivation, and their learning outcomes.
