  Reflection
 Based on the videos that I've watched, I have learned the procedures and activities being
executed in the construction site. It is necessary that all the structural details being brought to
life in the site conforms to the National Structural Code of the Philippines 2015. Otherwise, the
project will not be approved and will be denied a building permit. The rebar works in the
construction is very delicate and should not be taken lightly. For example, the development
lenghths in a column that is embedded to a footing must conform to the minimum requirements
of embedment lengths based on NSCP 2015. Also, I have learned that when designing a
structure, the sequence follows the Load Transfer Mechanism, which means the slab is to be
designed first, followed by the beams, columns and foundation. But during construction, the
opposite of that sequence is being followed. The foundation will be constructed first and then
gradually upwards until it reaches the slab construction.
