Is it okay to take a picture of a stranger in public?

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oCWOKIJu35Eml8NKAf-5u_4wR3m7d0v7/view?usp=sharing

Hi, my name's Sarah. I come from England and my question is, is it okay to take
a picture of a stranger in public?

My answer would be definitely not. It's never okay to take somebody's picture
without telling them or without asking them for permission before you do it. I
think the respectable and the decent thing to do is to let that person know and
make sure they're comfortable with you taking that picture. A lot of people hate
having their picture taken by themselves or by others, so you don't want to put
anybody in a difficult situation or make them feel uneasy about it. Also, you
should really let them know if you're going to be posting it up on any kind of
social media like Facebook or Instagram, just let them know that other people
are also going to see this picture and make sure they're familiar with what that
means as well. That's the fair thing to do. So yeah, never take somebody's
picture without permission.

Cash or Credit Card?

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1V1da45QcqbbHFgVAkwX2oEF5wZtuHVie/view?usp=sharing

Hi, my name is Suzetti and I'm from Peru. And the question is, do you usually
pay for things with cash, debit or credit?

And my answer would be that it depends. For instance, if I'm going to a

convenience store and I'm just getting two items or three items and the bill is no
more than $10 or $15, then yes, I usually pay with cash. But if I'm going to a
different store and I'm getting a large amount of items or the bill is more than
$100, then yes, I usually pay with debit.

I try to limit the times I use my credit card. I'd rather spend money that I already
got, but there are emergency situations, right, or there are times when you don't
have enough money or you don't want to spend a large amount of money at
once. So for instance, if I'm buying a couch or a dining set or a car, then sure. I
use my credit card.

When did you get your first phone?

https://drive.google.com/file/d/191LFATNGAfOayMoBzfylU74Tozqku3D2/view?usp=sharing

Widuri: Hello! I'm Widuri from Indonesia.

Danu: And I'm Danu from Sri Lanka.

Widuri: Ok. The question for today when did you get your first phone? When
did you get your first phone?

Danu: I got my first phone when I was 13 years old.

Widuri: Thirteen.

Danu: And it was a very simple phone with not many options. Just a black and
white screen phone, that you can just call your parents when you are out of your
house. So my mom gave it to me because I might get lost, you know?

Widuri: Oh, I remember! I think I got my first phone at the same age like you,
13. And it was a very simple one, not the iPhone or any smart phone; it's not a
touch screen, right? It's very simple.

Danu: Yes, and I could only play Snake on my mobile phone.

Widuri: Yeah, oh yeah! Snake, message, and calls only.

Danu: Yes!

Widuri: Yeah? And what about you? When did you get your first phone?

What environmental problems are facing your

country?

Hi, my name's Sarah. I come from England. And my question is what

environmental problems are facing your country?

I would say right now in England, one of the main issues would definitely be air
pollution. There's so many airports here, so every day there's thousands of
flights coming in and out of our air space causing a lot of pollution. And also,
cars. I would say most people here own a car or even some families have
multiple cars between them. So I think there's a lot of air pollution from how
much transportation that we do use in England.

Also, another big problem right now would be littering. Either waste and rubbish
isn't disposal properly, or people just leave it out in the street and it's very dirty
and obviously causing a lot of problems for the environment in England.
Would you like to live on a tropical island?

Hi, my name is Anthony, and I'm from England. Today's question is, would you
like to live on a tropical island?

And I'm going to say no. I don't want to live on a tropical island. A friend of mine
once told me you should never live in paradise. I think that's good advice
because I think I would get bored of it quite quickly, and I don't like really hot
weather. I quite like ... well, I'm from the north of England where it's quite cold a
lot of the year. I'd really miss the snow and the ice and the rain. It sounds a bit
strange, but it's what I'm used to, and it's what's home for me really. But I do
enjoy visiting tropical islands, and I've been on holiday to Mauritius before
because a friend of mine lives there. And it's great for a couple of weeks to
enjoy the sun, maybe some cocktails by the beach, just some relaxing times
away from work. But I'd always miss home, and I'd get homesick. I'd want to
come home I think.

What did you buy today?

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h-VlnuthO2NMJcWl6OZ-PwzohMNnfnhZ/view?usp=sharing

Hello, my name is Bianca, and I'm from North Carolina in the United States. My
question is, what did you buy today?

Today is actually an excellent day to answer that question because it is the

second most special shopping day in the US. It's called Black Friday. Number
one is Cyber Monday. So Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, and
Thanksgiving is the fourth Thursday of every November.

So on Black Friday businesses deeply discount their prices 30%, 40%, 50% in
order to give consumers a leg up on their holiday shopping. So to answer the
question, what did I buy today? Well, I haven't bought anything yet, but I do plan
on doing some shopping online. I hope to buy all of the gifts for others today, as
well as a few necessary items that I have been saving up for. So that's that.
Thank you so much. And what about you? What did you buy today?

Losing weight
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GrA5YgKGI9shELJkpj3GNXTm8eSMUiiC/view?usp=sharing

Todd: Devon, I've been putting on a few pounds and you're quite a lean fit guy.
Devon: Well, thank you.
Todd: What do you recommend? What can I do to lose weight?

Devon: Well, I exercise a lot. I go running at least three times a week. More
than that, I enjoy playing sports. Different sports use different muscles and all of
it helps to lose that weight that you might have gained.

Todd: Yeah. Actually, one of the problems is that I actually exercise a lot.

Devon: Do you?

Todd: Yeah, so maybe it's my diet.

Devon: It could be and so in that case you might want to eat something
perhaps more nutritious or maybe even less of what you do eat. Maybe, I eat
three meals a day and I try not to snack in between. No potato chips. No
popcorn. No candy bars.

Todd: That's pretty tough!

Devon: It is tough but......Well, I must admit that I cheat every once in awhile
but...

Todd: Ok, I'll give it a try. Actually, you see my problem is that I like junk food. I
have to choose, either I eat less or I eat a better diet. What do you think is more
important?

Devon: I think that if you are exercising then you should just eat what you want
and eat less.

Todd: Eat less. OK. This is going to be tough.

Devon: Well, I have no doubt that you will do the best that you can.

Todd: Alright! Thanks a lot Devon.

How do you feel about wearing glasses?

https://drive.google.com/file/d/15eMg-qxa8Nx4yyCLWs8Lvfzbv-cecBPk/view?usp=sharing

Hi, my name is Thaer, and I am from Jordan. And today's question is how do
you feel about wearing glasses?

Well, honestly, I've been wearing glasses since 2012. At the beginning, it was
difficult for me to have something on your face for the whole time. But then after
that, I started actually liking it because you never know how bad your vision is
until you wear glasses. So when you wear the glasses, you would be looking in
a really good vision. You would be having a really good vision.

So before that, you don't really know how bad is your glasses. In my opinion, I
think it's good. And even though my vision is not that bad, by the way, so I just
take it off and I can see everything clear, but I actually prefer to wear glasses.
And also, it looks good. A lot of people told me that glasses look good and I like
it actually on my face. So what do you think? How do you feel about wearing
your glasses?
