The read aloud tool instructions will provide a few steps on how to activate voice playback of text being
displayed on the computer display, while using the Microsoft Edge browser. The instructions are easy to
follow and intended for an audience possessing practical skills utilizing Microsoft Edge browser within
Windows 10 operating system environment. The purpose of these instructions is to, broaden focus and
comprehension of embedded internet text material accessed by Microsoft Edge browser through Real
Aloud speech tool.
System Requirements
A laptop or a desktop computer (Figure 2) (Figure 3)
Windows 10 operating system installed on computer. (Figure 1)
A copy of Microsoft Edge browser application installed on the computer (Figure 4)

Step 3(b). A read aloud tool bar display occurs once clicking the READ ALOUD options tab
through the browser settings menu. (Figure 8)

Step 5(a). To change voice dialect simply start by clicking the box below CHOOSE A VOICE
caption displayed in the voice options menu. (Figure 11)

Step 6 (c). Click the rewind icon to reverse voice playback or click the fast froward icon to skip
ahead. (figure 15)
Step 7. Once finished simply click the X icon on the read aloud tool bar next to the VOICE
OPTIONS tab to quit the tool. (Figure 16)

A successful execution of the instructions will provide a great scope of understanding and
physically implementing the Read Aloud tool in the Microsoft Edge Browser within the
