try to explain about functions and example sentences, present simple, past simple and present
continuous,

 The simple present tense has the first characteristic to use: V1 / Vs / es. for example, play
is V1, Goes (has added es at the back), likes (has an added s at the back) the second
feature uses the words, always, usually, often, every, seldom, and once a week (there are
these words in the sentence) and also usually uses, does / do, The function of this tense
is :
 Stating general habits (habitual action).
 Demonstrate a general truth or a fact (general truths/facts).
 Stating things that are often done.
 Shows current events.
 While the first present continuous feature uses to be (is/am/are) + Ving, for example, is
playing, are reading, am healping, is fixing, and the second feature uses the words, Now,
at the moment, at the present , and has the following functions :
 State what is happening at the moment.
 Shows an event that is temporary (temporary action).
 State a definite plan.
 Shows realities that are happening today (trends).
 then the first simple past feature uses V2 / Ved (added ed at the back) for example visited,
played, studied, the second feature uses the words, last .... (for example last year), ..... ago
(for example 6 days ago), yesterday, one day, when, and also usually uses, did, the simple
past tense function, namely:
 State an event that occurred in the past (has no relationship with the present) with
general time.
 Shows past habits.
 Stating the time period in the past.
 Shows sequential events that occurred in the past.

Example sentences SIMPLE PRESENT, PRESENT CONTINUOUS, SIMPLE PAST

I slept enough last night

(Does the sentence include simple present -Vs, present countinuous -Ving, Simple Past -V2),
"remember if he is present there is V1 / Vs, while continuos has Ving, whereas if it is past
V2" said slept then there was last night, now it's clear that last night is certain that past tens
and slept are in the form of V2, so make sure that the sentence includes simple past

saya akan mencoba menjelaskan tentang fungsi dan contoh kalimat, present simple, past simple dan
present continuous,

 Simple present tense memiliki ciri yang pertama menggunakan : V1/Vs/es. contohnya, play is
V1, Goes ( ada tambahan es di belakang), likes ( ada tambahan s di belakang ) ciri yang ke dua
menggunakan kata always, usually, often, every, seldom, and once a week ( ada kata-kata ini di
dalam kalimat) dan juga biasanya menggunakan, does/do , Adapun fungsi tense ini yaitu:

Menyatakan kebiasaan umum (habitual action).

Menunjukkan kebenaran umum atau suatu fakta (general truths/facts).

Menyatakan hal yang sering dilakukan.

Menunjukkan kejadian saat ini.

 Sedangkan present continuous ciri yang pertama menggunakan to be (is/am/are) + Ving,

contohnya, is playing, are reading, am healping, is fixing, dan ciri yang ke dua menggunakan
kata, Now, at the moment, at the present, dan memiliki fungsi sebagai berikut:

Menyatakan hal yang sedang terjadi pada saat ini.

Menunjukkan suatu kejadian yang bersifat sementara (temporary action).

Menyatakan rencana yang sudah pasti.

Menunjukkan realita yang sedang terjadi saat ini (trends).

 selanjutnya simple past ciri yang pertama menggunakan V2/Ved (ditambahkan ed di belakang)
contohnya visited, played, studied, ciri yang ke dua menggunakan kata,last .... (contohnya last
year), .....ago (contohnya 6 days ago), yesterday, one day, when, dan juga biasanya
meenggunakan, did, Fungsi simple past tense yaitu:
Menyatakan suatu kejadian yang terjadi dimasa lampau (tidak mempunyai hubungan dengan masa
sekarang) dengan waktu yang umum (general).

Menunjukkan kebiasaan dimasa lampau.

Menyatakan jangka waktu dimasa lampau.

Menunjukkan kejadian berurut-urut yang terjadi dimasa lampau.

Contoh kalimat SIMPLE PRESENT, PRESENT CONTINUOUS, SIMPLE PAST

I slept enough last night

( Apakah kalimat tersebut termasuk simple present -Vs, present countinuous -Ving, Simple Past –
V2 ), “ingat kalau dia present ada V1/Vs , sedangkan continuos ada Ving, sedangkan kalau past V2”
Dari kalimat yang pertama, ciri yang pertama ada kata slept kemudian ada last night, nah udah jelas
kalau last night sudah pasti past tens dan slept ini adalah bentuk V2, maka sudah di pastikan kalimat
tersebut termasuk simple past

Fatimah always enjoys her trip to the market,

Kata kuncinya ada di always dan enjoys, maka jawaban nya adalah semple present

Karna ada kata did maka dia termasuk dalam semple past

she is washing her hair now

Ada kata washing , nah ada ing nya disini dan juga ada kata now, maka kalimat ke empat termasuk
presents continuous

they dont go to the beach every weekend

Disini ada kata dont, apalagi ada kata every weekend, brrti sudah bisa di pastikan termasuk ke
semple present

Ada kata arrived dan yesterday , arrived termasuk ke V2 , maka yang menggunakan V2 adalah simple
past

reading disini menggunakan kata ing, maka termasuk semple continuous
