Affair: Critical situation in Colombia.

I want to inform you about the sad situation that Colombia has been experiencing
since Wednesday, April 28, when President Iván Duque presented a tax reform to recover
the money that Colombia needs and has lent. However, the president involved raising taxes
on the family basket; leaving the population baffled by a very unjust reform. As a result,
from that date, many cities in Colombia had clashes with ESMAD and the public
authorities.

I want to inform you the president gives the orders to attack the Colombians, when
many of them are not doing anything wrong and attack them unjustly, so much so that they
have killed in a painful and unjust way many citizens and especially young people. I want
to report that ESMAD throws tear gas into homes, knowing that there are elderly adults and
children inside.

Mr. President is overstepping the orders he gives to the public authorities and the
military to assassinate the Colombian people. Sadly, the most violent deaths have occurred
in Cali, and the mayors of every city have not helped, because they would rather see the
people murdered than help them.

This protest became a war, a war against the people themselves; knowing that
reform is for everyone. However, the demand for tax reform was rejected in Congress and
that taxes would no longer be raised on the family basket, but now the fight is against
health reform, which also affects citizens. Secondly, it has become a war to defend human
rights, which the President has violated along with other articles that he has ignored
according to the political constitution.

This is in order for the ONU to listen to us, the Commonwealth and other countries
to see us. The president must think again, the authorities must be aware of the damage they
are doing to those they must protect, and it is an appeal to the defenders of the people. In
Colombia they are murdering and we need help.
Sincerely,

For: President of the Republic of Colombia Iván Duque, and Congress of the Nation.

Affair: Critical situation in Colombia.

Mr President, it is no secret that the situation got out of hand, more than usual.
Since Wednesday, April 28, what was a peaceful march, a pool of blood turned to his name.

Colombia has become the center of attention in many countries; many have
empathy for what is happening. It is time and he has not made agreements, he has not met,
he has not stopped issuing orders for massacres, and everything is falling apart. You are
asked to listen to the people, the pain the people feel for what you are doing. He is asked to
be more empathetic, because a president must protect his country and not go against it.
And if you don’t know, the situation in the country is getting very sad.

They have Cali censored, they want to attack every neighborhood without counting
many lives. He is asked in all discretion to heed the call of the people and of those who
want to do good. Meet with those who know the most, with those who have proposals to
you, to be able to free the people from this bad time that many are going through.

Do not let the deaths of innocent young people go unpunished, because I invite you
to watch social media where they publish the true reality of what is happening. The news
lies and everyone lies in front of what’s going on. I give you the example of Lucas Villa, a
cheerful young man and leader of a peaceful march, who was shot by envious and hateful
people who didn’t like to see him happy. Today, Lucas is fighting for his life.

Think that the people are your children and not your enemies, and please stop being
the puppet of Álvaro Uribe Vélez, we know that he is behind this and you are looking bad.

Finally, listen to the proposals of Sergio Fajardo, listen the people, go to the
presidents before you, and take a little awareness and empathy with all the people, because
now, the red spot is you.
Sincerely,

Laura Martínez

I’m sorry, professor, in this case there are no references because everything has been
from my point of view, and from what is happening through social networks.
