Dear Consumer, to link Aadhaar against your CAN for availing free drinking water supply scheme,

please keep Aadhaar card & Aadhaar linked Mobile Number.

Listed are the below Categories that will come under Domestic Slum/Individual Domestic. Please check
the category in your bill.

1. Domestic Slum (DS)

2. Individual Domestic (DP,D,DM, GP,H, MB,MS, U,M0,CH,RC)

Below is the process for linking the CAN with Aadhaar.

1. Click on “Please click here for Aadhaar Linkage” hyper link against Individual Domestic/Domestic
Slums Connections.
2. Please enter valid CAN in field provided.

3. CAN details (Name, Mobile No., Address, Category) will be displayed.

4. Please Enter Property Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

5. Please Enter consumer Aadhaar Number (16 Digits) in the field provided.
6. Re-enter the Aadhaar Number (16 digits) to Confirm.
7. Click on “Get OTP” hyperlink when Aadhaar number and Confirm Aadhaar numbers are the
same.
8. 6 Digit - One Time Password is sent to the Consumer mobile number as registered with the
Aadhaar.
9. Consumer can click on Resend OTP to receive OTP again.
10. Enter the OTP in the field provided
11. Enter Captcha.
12. Click on SAVE button to accept the Aadhaar linkage to CAN and Register for Free Water supply
benefit.
13. Success message will be displayed only when Name in Aadhaar and Name in CAN are matched.
Confirmation SMS will be sent to the Consumer.

14. If Name in Aadhaar and Name in CAN are not matched, informing the Consumer to update the
Name by visiting the nearest E-Seva Centre.

bill.

1. MSB (M1,M2,T1,T2,T3,T4)
2. Colonies (O)

Below is the process for linking the CAN with Aadhaar.

1. Click on “Please click here for Aadhaar Linkage” hyper link against MSB/Colonies Connections.
2. Please enter valid CAN in field provided.

3. 4 digit OTP will be sent to the consumer registered mobile number linked to the CAN.

4. Enter OTP.

5. After OTP validation Generate Secure PIN button will be displayed.

6. Click on “Generate Secure PIN”.

7. “Enter PIN” and “Confirm PIN” fields will be displayed.

8. Enter 6 digit PIN in “Enter PIN” and “Confirm PIN” fields and then click on Save button.
Note: Same PIN can be used for next transactions without using OTP. Generated PIN is valid for
15 days.

9. CAN details are displayed.

10. Consumer can change No. of Flats/Units by selecting the radio button as ‘No’. Consumer should
enter the No. of Flats/Units which will be less than the available No. of Flats/Units displayed for
the CAN.
 11. Consumer will download the given template by clicking on the “Download Template” button to
furnish details of all the flats as mentioned in the template. Open the downloaded template in
notepad.
12. Consumer has to fill all the details with comma separated in the given template and upload the
same by clicking on the choose file button. Below is the sample template.

Note: A. Flat or Unit, PTIN, Beneficiary Type, Aadhaar Number, Name as per Aadhaar, Mobile Number
are Mandatory and consumer has to enter correct details.

B. Beneficiary Type should be Owner or Tenant only.

13. All the entered details will be displayed in the grid when consumer clicks on upload button.
14. Click on Edit button to edit the Name as per Aadhaar.

15. Click on Validate button.

16. Confirmation message will display when PTIN Owner Name and Name as per Aadhaar is
mismatched.
17. Click on Yes button, 6 digits OTP will be sent to the Aadhaar registered mobile number of the
Flat/Unit owner.

18. Enter OTP and Click on Save button.

19. Success message is displayed as “Aadhaar registration is successful”.

20. Repeat the above to link all the Flat/Unit owners Aadhaar to the CAN.

21. To avail 20KL Free Water Supply scheme for the MSB/ Colonies, All the Flats/Units Owners
Aadhaar must be linked.
