KYCNEW menu modification for CKYC ID generation

Data from KYCNEW menu is being pulled for CKYC ID generation for retail customers.
According to the CERSAI guidelines for the implementaion of CKYC Version 1.2 new
CKYC template is introduced. Accordingly few changes has been made on
KYCNEW menu for retail customer for the above said purpose.

Therefore , all the Branches /Offices are requested to follow below changes and
feed the data while modifying / adding any fields in KYCNEW as instructed below.

The following changes made for the below page:

1. PAN cannot be used as Identity Proof in KYCNEW menu. PAN number to be

entered in CUMM menu. If Customer doesn’t have PAN number then FORM60
menu to be invoked to generate FORM60 number. Remember there is no
need to put this FORM60 number anywhere in system for CKYC ID generation.

2. Identity Proof: The following options which can be used as Identity Proof for
CKYC ID generation.
a. Passport.
b. Voters Identity Card.
c. Driving License.
d. UID(Aadhaar).
e. NREGA Job Card.
f. UID (Aadhaar) Offline.
g. National Population Register(NPR) Letter.
h. UID (Aadhaar) E-KYC Authentication.

3. Addr of Idnt Proof: Address which is mentioned on Identity Proof, to be

provided here.

4. Local Adr Prof Typ: Current /Communication/Local Address Proof to be

selected here. All the Identity Proof can also be used as Current
/Communication/Local Address Proof.
Example: Voter Identity Card can be used as Identity Proof as well as Current
/Communication/Local Address Proof provided that both Address of Identity
Proof and Current /Communication/Local Address is same.
Current /Communication/Local Address details to be provided on the next
page.
The following options which can be used as Identity Proof for CKYC ID
generation.
a. Passport.
b. Voters Identity Card.
c. Driving License.
d. UID(Aadhaar).

i. Utility bill which is not more than two months old of any service provider
(electricity, telephone, post-paid mobile phone, piped gas, water bill)( ID
Details is optional).
j. Property or Municipal Tax receipt (ID Details is optional).
k. Pension or family pension payment orders (PPOs) issued to retired
employees by Government Departments or Public Sector Undertakings, if
they contain the address (ID Details is optional).
l. Letter of allotment of accommodation from employer issued by State or
Central Government departments, statutory or regulatory bodies, public
sector undertakings, scheduled commercial banks, financial institutions
and listed companies. Similarly, leave and license agreements with such
employers allotting official accommodation (ID Details is optional).
m. Self-Declaration (Value permitted only Proof of current address where Poof
of Identity is Aadhaar (ID Details is optional)).

Meaning of the below alert message:

If a single Official Valid Document (OVD) is being used for both Identity Proof and
Local Address Proof type then ID Number of the ID Proof must be same.

Example: Here we are using Voter ID for both Identity Proof and Local Address Proof
type but entered different Number for the same Voter ID, then below alert is
showing.

Below changes made for the below page:

1. Communication /Local: Current /Communication/Local Address details to

be provided here.

2. Phone 1 & Phone 2 (Optional Fields): format :STD Code – Phone Number
STD code maximum can be 4 digits.
Example: 033-44559796

3. Mobile No & Mobile No 2 (Optional Fields) : Format : ISD Code – Mobile

Number .
Example: 91-9862488077

Meaning of the below alert message:

If Address of Identity Proof and Communication/Current/Local Address entered is

different. Then a single Official Valid Document (OVD) can’t be used for different
Addresses.

Resolution:

a. If both Address of Identity Proof and Communication/Current/Local Address

are same then single or different OVD can be used.
b. If both Address of Identity Proof and Communication/Current/Local Address
are different then different OVD must be used.

The following are the changes made for the below page:

1. If the Customer is below 10 years of age then enter the Guardian

Customer ID on Cust-Id field .Remember KYCNEW to be invoked for
Guardian Customer ID first if not invoked earlier.
