CHARACTERS

Ely dela Cruz 30 years of age; your typical happy-go-lucky and

friendly guy. Sociable and easily approachable,
people easily open up to him. Even after besides
the fact that he hasn’t reached as far as most of
his high school buds have in the span of 15
years, he is satisfied with his life and is
content with what he has – except one minor
detail, and it’s the regret that the mistake of
having let the past go has brought.

Lisette “Sett” Cayago Single mom by 20. Is a caring and loving mom.
Appearance: Last Scene Looks as if she has a cynical view in life, but
after her son was brought into this world, she
has come to view the world in a somehow brighter
light. Very hardworking; tries to provide for her
son what his father’s lacked in and has never
been there for. Passed away after having been hit
by a car at the age of 29.

Ma’am Ojales Ely’s seemingly austere boss around his age.

Appearance: Office She’s that ‘mataray’/’masungit’ figure in the
Scenes office that most people wouldn’t dare mess with,
but Ely’s often seen trying to strike up a
conversation and addressing her like a friend.
He’s put it upon himself to break down her walls.
She’d never admit it out loud, but she’s grateful
for his presence since he works kind of like the
ray of sunshine among the sea of zombies that is
their office.

Raimund “Ray” Marasigan 1/5 of Ely and his little high school crew. His
Appearance: The “Call” friendship with Ely stands out the most from
Scene + Reunion Scene their gang, though. The two are noticeably more
open and close to each other. Consider him the
first to be updated about Ely’s life before
anybody else. He always seems to call out Ely on
a lot of things (like him still being single, for
example) but that’s just him being concerned old
Ray.

Ely’s Mom She and Ely have this kind of really

Appearance: House Scene understanding and transparent relationship with
each other. Just by looking at how the two
interact, anyone could tell that both are equally
as dependent on each other. She’s the kind to
bring up a lot of things concerning her son in a
way that is teasing rather than nagging.
Marcus Adoro That one friend in their crew who’s really
Appearance: Reunion tolerant and just raises a thumb up at any of
Scene Ely’s gimmicks. Treats Ely like a little brother
even if the gap between them is just a few
months.

Buddy Zabala That friend who’s just as happy-go-lucky though

Appearance: Reunion he used to be the most grade-conscious back in
Scene their high school days. Was the “walking
dictionary” slash teacher of the group. Now still
speaks like some know-it-all, even if he does
know it all.

Kris Dancel The group ‘extra’. Their crew is pretty loud, but
Appearance: Reunion this guy’s the silent lurker. Doesn’t speak as
Scene much as the others do, but when he does, they all
listen. Is considered The Wise One.

Sett’s mom Basically like Ely’s mom, except more tired and
weary. Looks more strict and doesn’t seem to be
as affectionate, but has a soft spot for
Lisette’s child. Has taken it upon herself to
raise her grandchild as her own, hence why she is
protective of the kid.

Jay (Sett’s child) He’s the kind of child that always has this
hopeful look in his eyes despite having gone
through so many things and losing so much at such
a young age. Positive, outgoing, and friendly.
