Adelyn’s Homework for January 2, 2021

Adelyn will be preparing a paragraph of argument this week. In this paragraph, Adelyn will pick
a side on the topic below, and then she will give reasons that support why she chose that side.
She will also think of a response against her point of view (what someone will try to say against
her opinion) and prepare a response. Adelyn will prepare her ideas on this outline, then we will
prepare her ideas to be written into a paragraph.

The support ideas above should be general ideas that can be applied to any person,
such as, ‘Breakfast gives you energy in the morning’, and then you will write why this is a
good fact, something like, ‘Breakfast provides energy to your body from when you
wake up to when you have lunch, and gives your body nutrition, even if you get a
snack time before lunch.’
You can use this idea if you like, and then come up with your own good idea and reason
why it is a good idea.
