Research / Work Experience

B.E. from APSCE, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Pursuing M.Sc/Ph.D integrated course from
VTU at RNSIT. Topic of research is “ECG Data Compression” . I have suggested and
implemented EDGE detection and object extraction using unbalanced weights for foreground
and background. I am serving as a reviewer in the editorial board of international journal by
name IJSER. I have published 6 papers in International Journals and conferences. Have 10+
years of experience which includes 2 years of industry experience in server control and
configuration for local LAN and 8 years of teaching experience teaching various subjects like
Digital Signal Processing, Signals and Systems, Microcontroller ( both 8051 and MSP 430), Field
Theory, Satellite Communication, Analog Communication, Digital Communication etc… Guided
many projects at UG and PG level. My research interests are Signal Processing, Image
Processing, Image Compression, Audio and Speech Processing, Pattern recognition. I was
involved with following projects : Asset tracking and management using GSM networks, Design
and Development of a LOG periodic dipole array, Design and development of micro strip
antenna array in C Band, GPS based microcontroller system for tracking MAVs. I am currently
working as Assistant Professor in Dept of T.C.E., K.S.I.T, Bangalore-560062 since July 2010.

Academic Qualification
 Pursuing M.Sc/Ph.D from V.T.U at R.N.S.I.T since Feb 2012. Topic is “ ECG Data
Compression”
 B.E in Telecommunication from A.P.S.C.E., V.T.U. Bangalore in 2003. Project implanted
was “Artificial Intelligence “.
 10+2 from National College Basavanagudi, in 1999. Physics, Chemistry Mathematics and
Computer Science were the subjects studied during the course.

Academic Achievements
 Involved in Question Paper Setting for “Satellite Communication” for VTU exam
 Certified as “Microsoft Certified Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering” from
APTECH Computer education.
 Trained on “Registry Editing and Anti Hacking “ from Microsoft , Delhi
 Scored 100/100 in Externals in Communication in 4th semester B.E.
  Developed a device entitled “Ultrasonic Distance Meter “ during 6 th semester B.E. which
got II prize in National Project presentation, 2002
 Active participant in preparation Team for AICTE accreditation in ATRIA institute of
Technology.
 Active participant in Organizing “TANTRAGNAANA”, National Conference on
Communication and Computations on 29th September 2012 at K.S.I.T
 Obtained awards in Quiz and other technical seminars on numerous occasion.
