them. Sebastian doesn’t believe they can
do anything when she gets the part
because she has to give everything for
her dream. He’s going to stay here and
follow his own plan. They finally figure
out each of their own plans and declare
that no matter what, they are always
going to love each other.
Years later, Mia enters a club and see Sebastian and they see each other and lock eyes. It’s the first time,
they’ve seen each other in years. Sebastian plays their song and slowly a fantasy-flashback scene emerges of
the possibilities of Sebastian and Mia being together. Mia and her husband leave after the song is finished.
Before she steps out of the club, Mia locks eyes with Sebastian and smiles for a second. It’s the kind of smile
that reveals she remembers the song he played.
Nobody ever expected sad ending for such beautiful movie. The last scene of this movie clearly breaks million
hearts. We have seen thousand movies that tell us how main characters let go of their future, their dreams, let
go of something special on their live just to be with each other together. Movies that show us that nothing in
this world will ever separate two lovebirds apart and impede them for being together forever.

Their love is unconditional and has so much more meaning than give up on each other dreams. Mia &
Sebastian taught us to use our logic in loving another human. With all the possibilities that might happen
on the past, words that shouldn’t said, action that shouldn’t done, things that should’ve happen, this
movie is beyond any word can ever describe.
The film was successful at the box office, earning over $430 million against its $30 million budget. The film
has been nominated for 265 awards, winning 112; La La Land received 14 nominations at the 89th Academy
Awards won six, Best Director (Chazelle), Best Actress (Stone), Best Cinematography (Sandgren), Best
Original Score (Hurwitz), Best Original Song ("City of Stars"), and Best Production Design. The film garnered
a leading seven Golden Globe Award nominations—Best Motion Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best
Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Original Score, and Best Original Song ("City of Stars").[9] Winning all of its
