GLOBAL Air Washer Unit represents one of the most outstanding advances made in air
conditioning equipment. Air and water are brought together in minute quantities that
considerably improve upon other method of mixing air and water for the purposes of
washing, humidification and dehumidification.

CONSTRUCTION FEATURES

 Panels and Framework

 Double skin sandwiched panels with outer skin of 0.6

mm is made of pre – painted GI sheet and inner skin
of 0.6 mm Plain GI Sheet confirming to IS:277.
 The casing shall have extruded aluminium perimeter
frame with modular panel and composite material
corner piece.
 The PUF insulation which density 40 Kg/m³ provides
better thermal insulation and sound attenuation.
 Air tight doors are mounted for servicing, whenever necessary on the unit. The doors are
fitted with nylon handle. Die cast AL hinges are used for heavy duty load bearing design.
 Sealing of the panels to the constructions is ensured by strips of self – adhesive cellular
rubber.
 Unit is mounted on galvanized steel base frame for easy handling and positioning
 Filters

Considering Indoor Air Quality in Air washer Units, the

standard pre – filters are made of Aluminium
construction having efficiency 90% down to 10 Micron.
Depends on application the fine filter of various
efficiencies also can be provided.

 Cellulose Pad

Cellulose pads are made of fluted cellulose sheet those are

glued together. Cellulose sheet is treated with unique
ingredients to achieve high cooling efficiency & degradation
resistance. As hot air passes through the Evaporative Cooling
Pads, a stream of cool and refreshing air is produced.

The cellulose pads are of imported is designed for maximum

saturation efficiencies, being having large Air to surface contact
area in 7 mm flute size and 45° x 45° flute angle.

 Water Tank

Water Tank is fabricated by corrosion resistant

Stainless Steel of Grades SS 304 as a standard
feature. Tank is designed for easy access for
periodic cleaning.
 Pipes & Pipes Fittings

The pipe and other fitting like gate valve, Y – strainers, Float valve, over flow and make up
connection are of reputed make.

 Mist Eliminator

PVC Mist Eliminators are designed to remove mist from air that
evolves as droplets. Mist Eliminators are made with corrosion-
resistant materials such as PVC.

 Fan and Motor

 Centrifugal fans are of double inlet double

width type with forward / backward curved
impeller. Plug fans are optional. All fans are
energy efficient, AMCA certified.

 The motor is of TEFC squirrel cage induction

type with IP 55 protection and class ‘F’
insulation.

 Fan – motor are mounted on a common

fabricated heavy gauge GI Chanel using anti
vibration pad and flexible connection on fan
outlet for silent and vibration free operation.

 There is a service door with electrical interlock trips on the fan section for service &
maintenance purpose.
