A YOUTH NEWSLETTER
In this volume, we have an interesting set of articles, activities, and videos that could help you
get started on this long but fulfilling journey. It is important to remember that physical fitness is
essential to a healthy life and a sound mind. Physical wellness also promotes a reduction in
stress, a boost in your mental well-being, induces self-discipline, and increases self-esteem.
Challenge yourself to meet daily or weekly physical activity goals. Play outdoor sports with your
family, schedule time each day to go to the gym, or develop hobbies like hiking or cycling. Let’s
all strive to make exercise and physical activity a permanent part of our daily routine!
“Well-being, or wholeness, implies integrity and harmony between all existing elements,
providing freedom for the whole."

WHAT'S NEXT!
If possible, write down your water intake as well. It is important to stay hydrated! This way,
you will habitually increase the amount of water you drink. With each meal or entry, ask
yourself, “Am I genuinely hungry?” You might be hungry, need a snack, or not be hungry at
all.
Check what time of day you’re hungriest, or what makes you eat less or more than usual!
Take note of this in your journal. It helps to write down your thoughts and feelings related to
food, this will help you develop better eating habits! Here are a few tips:
Try writing in it every day - reflect on what you have learned about yourself.
Keep track of times to help you see out your food habits - this could be when you ate,
how long you were active, or what you felt.
Try to carry your journal with you, so you can write things down before you forget.
