Featherhaven Farms (North) Daily Chores

Everything that is alive is first each day.

 Let George out to pee.

 Let Big Dogs out to pee & secure them into their pen outside.
Insure food and water for the day.
 Check rabbit’s feed and water.
 Check outside cat’s food and water. Open her garage a little so
she can get in and out during the day.
 Open all poultry doors and let the birds outside. 10am at the
latest in fall & winter. Hot summer days let out at the latest by
8am. Feed & Water. Ensure clean water containers. One scoop
of food in each feeder for the day. Peacocks need both grain and
cat food.
 Feed and water the parakeets. Take them outside and hang
them if warm outside.
 Feed fish. Ensure that the humidifier is emptied in basement
sink.
 Water plants in the basement or upstairs if they need it.
 Check Sydney’s food and water in the basement.
 Check all gardens, garden beds, and potted plants. Ensure
watering as needed. Compost as needed. All kitchen compost
goes in gardens and garden beds.
 When warm, watch where you step at night. There are millions
of earth worms. If you shine a flashlight on them & they will go
in the ground.
