 Warranty Certificate for Fixed Structures

Nclave a manufacturer of fixed structures and solar trackers, located in Avda. de Burgos 114 2º,
28050 Madrid, Spain, ensures that your product meets the technical specifications and quality
standards applying to new products.

Nclave guarantees, at the time of purchase, the technical characteristics described in the
corresponding quotation which are summarized below:

1. Guarantees

Nclave gives the following guarantees:

Period of 2 years warranty for all the commercial elements of the structure (bolts & nuts, washers,
clamps, union plates between tables, bonding straps,…).

Period of 10 years warranty for all the elements of the fixed structure that have been manufactured
by Nclave. exclusively against damages that may occur due to design or manufacturing defects.
Damages resulting from misuse of equipment or damages arising from the effect of nature such as,
but not limited to, any extreme weather condition, earthquakes, floods or other events such as, fire,
explosion, acts of terrorism, vandalism and robbery are expressly excluded from this warranty
independently from what is considered in the contract.

Period of 20 years warranty against corrosion according to the above mentioned standards and
studies applied assuming there will be no change in the environmental conditions during the power
plant’s life. Due to the natural tendency of metals to deteriorate in the presence of atmospheric
or/and soil corrosivity conditions, the warranty has to be understood as a Declaration of
Performance of the product during the 20 years covered by the warranty and not as a grant for
keeping the product in “as new condition” all along the 20 years period. Corrosion not affecting the
structural integrity of the installation is not covered by the warranty.

Following eventualities are specifically excluded from the previous warranties:

1. Incidents resulting from incorrect use of the structure and / or components by the user.
2. Incidents caused by external elements or conditions not taken into account and listed in the
project specifications.
3. Damage and failures produced due to non-compliance with instructions for installation, use
and assembly as established in the installation manual of Nclave.
4. Defects related to aesthetic aspects of the structure except those involving non-functioning
or performance thereof will be declared not eligible for warranty claim.
5. Incidents resulting from the civil works.
6. Damage caused by an inadequate maintenance and the no respect of the instructions from
the maintenance manual of Nclave.
7. Damages caused by the event of nature.
8. Warranty will not be applicable if the customer executes any modification in the installation
supplied by Nclave without previous written authorization issued by Nclave.
9. Warranty will not be applicable if the potential difference between the metallic structure and
the soil is modified due to an electric installation made by the customer and not considered
in the project design and calculation. As a reference, for the application of the Warranty, the
potential difference between the metallic structure and the soil, measured with a
copper/copper sulphate reference electrode has to be higher than 850 mV before and after
the electrical connection of the plant.
10. Warranty will not be applicable if galvanic couples appear between the structure and
elements not considered in the design of the structure.

3. Conditions

This guarantee is set against failures and damages attributable to the manufacturer and covers repair
or replacement of damaged items, but does not cover transportation or labour for their assembly /
disassembly.

The mentioned warranties are the minimum offered by Nclave., reserving the rights to offer
extensions thereof, in which case the extended warranty will be collected in a separate document.

With the written and certificated authorization from the client, this Warranty can be transferred to a
third party.

The warranty period begins from the dispatch date of supply from our facilities. Are expressly
excluded from the warranty the damages from any incident that may occur during transport until
final acceptance at destination.

Any warranty right not expressly mentioned in this document is excluded.

The receipt of payment for the material delivery will be considered as the proof of the warranty and
the date it comes into effect.
