Q1: What were the challenges faced by Mike Schlater, Domino’s Pizza?
ANS: Every organization when going international has to face challenges, just like this
mike also faced some.  He had to identify the international suppliers and get them
approved to sell their products to Domino’s. To maintain a good quality companies,
have to find good local dealers to get their supplies, and another problem companies
face is to negotiate with all the differences, culture, political reasons and economic
differences.
2): How they turned them into opportunities and managed internationally?
ANS: Dominos takes advantage by using local people, which they refer to as local masters.
Local masters take advantage of their local expertise in dealing with marketing
strategies, political and regulatory issues, and the local labor market. The master
franchisees of Domino’s Pizza’s international business are individuals or entities who,
under a specific licensing agreement with Domino’s, control all operations within a
specific country. Such master franchisees have deep local knowledge that helped
Domino’s succeed. Another big reason is that schlater has also been socially
responsible, he donated millions of dollars as well. Such charitable focus has also
shone light on his socially responsible tendencies, another critical aspect of success.

SUCCESS FACTORS:
 several key success factors that enabled Domino's Pizza succeed in setting up overseas. Unlike
the implantation, failures result from a failure to take into account some of these factors:
choosing a suitable local franchisee partner; using the basic model and methods of Domino's: if,
training, cost control and process, quality; consideration of local culture by adapting the basic
model; installation to understand the gradual development of market outlets; competitive
advantage; know how to reposition and policy change, be prepared to support a pay-back on a
"long period".
