Respected Pradhan Mantriji, leader of opposition and Learned member of the

parliaments. I am honoured to welcome, you all to the opening ceremony of

2021 Mock Parliament. I am grateful to you all for being here to participate in
the deliberations of the session.
We are meeting at a time when the whole world is going through unprecedented
crisis. With your support, India is battling at all front be it the Novel COVID 19
Pandemic, Locust attack or LaC dispute. As we all are, well aware India’s fight
against the Corona global pandemic is moving ahead with great strength and
steadfastness.
This display of our collective strength, by us, the people of India, is a true tribute
to Baba Saheb Doctor Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Baba Saheb’ s life inspires us to
combat each challenge with determination and hard work.
A great man once said "This time, like all times, is a very good one, but only if we
know what to do with it." What is new is that so much of your generation has
woken up to the fact that the status quo needs fixing, that the old ways of doing
things don’t work.
It is a perilous time for the nation and if the country is going to get better, it’s
going to be up to us.
I now officially welcome you to the first online mock parliament session 20-21 and
hope that this is a smooth first session.

It is my honour and proud privilege to welcome you all to this joint session of
mock parliament 2021. We will start with oath or affirmation. Members to take
