Hi! I am Erika Ximena Arango Ruiz, I am 19 years old
My family is made up of my mother who is working in cancer as a cleaning assistant, my
brother who works independently and already has a son with his wife, my older sister who is
not currently working, she is dedicated to her home and family which are my two nieces who
are studying and my brother-in-law who is a retired from the army. I currently live with my
mom and my three pets.
I studied all my primary school at the Soledad Samper school, all my baccalaureate at the
Colegio Liceo Femenino Mercedes Nariño and currently I study Social Work at Uniminuto.
I have many dreams, one of them is to finish my career and go to the Country of Mexico,
why? Because it is a country with a lot of culture and a lot, but of course taking into account
that I would not leave my Country Colombia forever, because it is where I was born and they
saw me born.
Another dream is to open a foundation for vulnerable populations and work for them,
providing them with the best quality of life.
Another dream, to be traveling first to know all of Latin America and then to see whether to
travel to other continents.
Finally, do all that with the person who loves me and who I love with all my heart, and who
can put up with all my crazy things and adventures that I have planned.
Friends are very few, but that does not mean that I am not sociable, but that I only choose my
friends very well, to be able to tell them my things with confidence.
I have a best friend, with a friendship of 8 years, we met at school, we have the same name
and they called us at school Erikas squared.
There have been many experiences in my life, one of them was when I traveled throughout
the coffee region, since I really like to know and I am very curious, we visited all the towns,
trying different foods, different flavors in those we had to work in one farm for a day and the
work involved with the farm animals.
One of the hardest moments of my life, you have been too many, but the hardest was the
death of my father, it was when he was very young, but his loss still hurts too much, when
with my brothers we fought for the love of father, but we still knew that he loved us all
equally, I was his spoiled for being the least of the family, his departure was too rough
