1. We are Karen Castillo and I Jessica Gaviria, Karen is 22 and I
am 38 years old, we have both lived in Dosquebradas (Risaralda)
for as long as we can remember, but we were born in Pereira,
this place is multicultural here you can find whatever you want,
although you must have be careful where you walk sometimes it
is usually dangerous, but this city is beautiful because of its
landscape, its climate and its gastronomy you will love it you will
find tray paisa, tripe, ajiaco, arepa de chocolo and many more
things, we believe that being a pen pal It is good since we
acquire new experiences and know new cultures.

2. Being in contact with a pen pal brings a lot of new experiences

from knowing a country without seeing it, knowing gastronomy
without trying it and knowing art without touching it, being able to
know different points of view on a world issue, being able to talk
with someone without having to see them physically. It is
something incredible, but the best thing is to learn the language
you want and being able to do it with native people of that
country makes it easier for you to know if you are making a
mistake or if you are exaggerating when speaking, all this helps
me improve my linguistic skills every day. Apart from this, I
usually watch movies in English and listen to music in English to
learn words and improve my pronunciation and get my ears used
to a new language.

3. We found out about a trip to England that is great because we

will get to know another culture different from our countries, so
we must keep practicing our English judiciously to be being able
to visit all the tourist sites that England has such as Hylands
House and Estate, Essex and the towers of London, you have to
keep in mind that in England you have to avoid things that are
frowned upon, as well as those that are illegal. In other words,
the attitude towards rules in England is generally different from
ours. You have to look very carefully at accommodation in the
UK, since we can get a very unpleasant surprise. Remember that
the subway is the cheapest means of transport that will allow us
to travel from end to end of the big cities of England, if we win
this contest we will visit all the countries of Europe because we
love discovering new cultures and gastronomies.
