THE STORY OF OUR FRIENDSHIP

Student A: Yurica Monrroy from Japon

Student B: Sergio Murillo from Mexico
Student C: Diana Callejas from Italy

Hi partners We are Yurica from Japan, Sergio from Mexico and Diana from Italy.

Yurica is 24, Diana is 26 Sergio is 34 years old. Japan is a city located East Asia. Its

official language is Japanese however, there are many other derivatives of this language

for example the Ryukyuan are spoken in Okinawa; this country is mountainous, the

highest point is Mount Fuji. Italy is located in Europe; its official language is Italian and its

traditional dish is called Risotto is a food alike to rice. Mexico is located at the southern tip

of north America too and its official language is Spanish. This country has a great cultural

diversity characterized for its gastronomy, music, his art and literature. Sergio likes chili in

all meals and dreams of owning a restaurant, he has a wonderful family. Yurica is a

beautiful, she likes tattoos, she loves extreme sports, Diana is a woman passionate about

fashion, loves animals, and dreams of traveling the world. We wanted to be pen friends

because we had the same dream: to speak English very well and get to know different

countries and cultures, so we started to meet through this website "Pen pals in funny

letters".

Together with my classmates we interact with people who have a high level of

English, additionally we read paragraphs in English trying to translate them into Spanish,

other things that help us is listening to music in English, with these habits we improve

spelling and pronunciation. We also use visual and audiovisual games in order to improve

pronunciation, we use forum to improve spelling.

When we heard about the challenge proposed by the web "pen pals in funny

letters", we began to read about England, taking into account that it is the place we would

like to visit. We found too much information about their culture and wonderful places that
 we would love to visit. Before traveling to this wonderful country. First, we must know that

it is a country that has too much visual art, such as painting, photography and sculpture.

In addition to how popular the performing arts are, open-air music festivals are very

strong and the circus is also a traditional form of entertainment in that country. If we talk

about music, the truth is that you have great world-class artists, such as Coldplay, Robbie

Williams, Ed Sheeran, among others, without leaving aside emblematic artists such as

The Beatles, Mick Jagger and Freddy Mercury. Cultural issues like the following call our

attention; They are so fond of tea, that they have a specific daily time for it, also that they

drive on the left and the importance they give to punctuality and respecting the lines. If we

win this challenge, we are clearly going to visit the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace,

the famous Big Ben and the other cathedrals, castles and palaces that we get to know.

Ta, well we will take the opportunity to enjoy its gastronomy, to try for example the Roast

Beef. We want to win this challenge to learn more about interesting English culture and

thus improve our English language skills.
