Reflection 1

For this semester, the situation does not allow us to choose the right school or class that we want
so the college choose for us the school and the grade.
I started the first traning day on the 21 of February. I introduce myself to the teacher and students
then the teacher introduces the students to me she was so welcoming to me I teach English for
grade 4 boys and girls. I took from the MST the daily schedule of clases and the lesson started
from 8:15 AM to 11:35 AM. I asked the teacher about the unit of this week.she sent me the unit
and sent me the weekly plan.
In the first week I was observing my MST how she is teaching and how she can handle the
classroom management as grade 4 they were easy to handle but for sure there was some issue like
teacher is calling for a student but no answer. In my opinion I prefer teaching in school instead of
online teaching. Also, the time was not enough the lesson was 30 minutes it hard to explain, give
them activates and taking attendance in this time.

Reflection 2
This week is the second week of training, I have been observed this week with my MST.I teach
Reflection
English lesson because my teacher teaches only English.2

My first observation with my MST was on Monday the topic was “Amazing Facts “the lesson
was excellent its move smoothly the students like it they were engage and active I teach them
new key words and how they can make sentences with the words I provide them with Nearpod
link. The starter was to re-write the 3 words in correct spelling and then I let the students write
sentences I use LMS point to reinforce the students and let them excited. After that I let them
watch video about facts and opinion to give more information and to check students
understanding.by the end of the class students evaluates themselves in the chat (3 understand, 2
average, 1 I need help).
Reflection 3
In my third observation students will have a lesson about reading pleasure, reading story identify
the character of story. In this lesson students will identify their favorite toys and will be able to
write about favorite toy. Class began with national anthem and the and the rules for distance
learning and because of the conditions we are going through (Covid 19), it is known that all
activities are online, and we as teachers try as much as possible to communicate information to
children in grade 4. The class was through Teams, I showed the story in PowerPoint each
students read sentences and I discuss with all the class , Ask them questions to let the students
engage and be interesting to know what will happen later. After that the class activities started. I
have the differentiation groups. Red group will try to re write sentences. Yellow group will have
a video and figure out the missing words. Green group will write five sentences about their
favorite toys. Finally, students will undertake a self-assessment where each student assesses

their understanding and write it on the chat.


Reflection 4

In the third week the theme was reading for pleasure so I teach 2 class about the same topic but
different lesson so today I teach them lesson 1 about Lubna and Pebble story students will be able
to read and understand the story students will be able to talk about the characters also they will
compare my setting to Lubna’s setting students will be able to write sentence to describe their
best friend. As usual my lesson starts with the national anthem classroom rules.my lesson move
smoothly they was active and engaged want to participate and answer the questions I gave them
reinforcement points in LMS after reading and discuss Lubna story I gave the activity for the
whole class to write sentences about what makes good friends. Finally, students will undertake a
self-assessment where each student assesses their understanding and write it on the chat.
Reflection 5
- First week after the spring break and it was also the first week in Ramadan.my MST want
to observe me so I decide with my MST to teach them a lesson about holy Ramadan and
what is Ramadan what they can do to help other people. The class was on Teams. I start
my lesson with classroom rules do the daily routines (days of today, days of the week,
months of the year, and the alphabets). I showed the PowerPoint and start talk about
Ramadan and then show them short video they were enjoying and talkative want to know
more and want to share their experience. After that I ask them questions like how many
days in Ramadan? when you fast? Do you enjoy Ramadan? And let them answer and write
sentences to help them in writing skills. To sum up everything that has been stated so far, I
like how they engage ad share their knowledge and all of my class was fasting.
