FACINGS:

What are facings?

Definition: The number of SKU’s or product units on shelf inside the SAB cooler that are facing the
customer. Put differently, facings are the front-end product units or SKU’s on shelf which are facing the
consumer and easily accessible first to the customer.

When counting facings the following rules apply:

1. Count only Red Bull front-end units in SAB coolers.
2. Each single unit of Red Bull packed on the front is counted as 1 facing.
3. If products are merchandised one on top of the other, only count the one on top as facings. In
other words, if two (2) cans of Red bull are packed one on top of the other, count the one on top
ONLY as one (1) facing.
4. Consider and count the products that are in the front, facing and accessible first to the customer,
as facings.
5. Facings are counted per single unit, in other words, when a 4 pack is merchandised inside the SAB
cooler, it is on a two side and is counted as 2 facings.

What to remember:
Price recording.
▪ Always mention the pack size (CBL 750ML RB QUART).
▪ Ask the name and designation of the person who assisted you.
▪ Double check to make sure the price recorded matches the price captured before you submit.
▪ If you can’t record on outside voice, record on WhatsApp and send on email to
laura@executrac.co.za and to kudakwashe@executrac.co.za. Please do not send your
recordings on WhatsApp.

VOLUME ON THIRD PARTY ACCOUNTS.

When you code an outlet permanently closed BUT you are reliably informed that the licence is
being used to stock for other outlets (third party) make sure you do the following.
▪ Put comments explaining that the outlet license is stocking for third party accounts.
▪ Send an email to heidi@executrac.co.za and your RM immediately to notify her that the outlet
license is used to stock for third party.
