your mistakes are there to teach you and force you into being more who you are.

equally
Intelligent
ICITAP
Instructors
headed by
Ma’

e Flores
Gonzales,
Mesdames
and Sirs,
HRDD staff,
fellowstudent
s of this
course, good
morning!It is a
pleasure to
be part of this
great learning
experience,
whichreally
gave me so
many
insights, and
made me feel
edified and
nurturedat the
same time.I
am indeed
certain that
everyone is
also grateful
thathe/she
was given the
chance to
participate in
this kind of
learningexperi
ence-seeing
how blessed
and fortunate
we are in
learning from
allcompetent
lecturers.Thru
it, I found
some of great
next steps of
being awriter
and a better
communicato
r the moment
that I will be
given
againopportu
nity to handle
clerical jobs in
my role as
PNCO.
I just feel so
amazed
because the
writer of the
module of this
course,Techn
ical Writing
and Public
Speaking
was precisely
one of
thelecturers.
What else
could we
expect as
students? We
have no
choicebut to
learn a lot.
Yes, we
learned a lot
because all
the
ICITAPInstru
ctors are
equally
intelligent.
When I was
tapped to give
the class
impressions
in today’s
closingcerem
ony, I was
thinking of
resisting the
offer because
I am not fond
ofspeaking
infront of a
rostrum. To
be honest, it
is only my
third time
to bestanding
infront of this
kind of
wooden box:
the first time
that I
delivereda
speech like
this was
when I was
elected as the
Master
Councilor in
anInternation
al
Organization,
the order of
Demolay, the
second time
wasyesterday
when we had
delivered our
respective
speeches.
And you
know what;
the feelings
were the
same on my
first two
experiences, “
Ifelt
hilariously
nervous”. But
to overcome
that feeling, I
did not resist.
At
least, I said, I
will be able to
put into
practice
immediately
what I
hadlearned in
this course
. And
besides,
ma’am
Gonzales
said, that this
is
not a request,
this is
mandatory.I
would like to
give first my
impression t
o our
lecturers, I
can’t find
any word that
best fits your
description
and only to
find out that
youpossess
all the
positive and
best
adjectives
that would
describe
aninstructor
and a person.
Brilliant,
magnificent,
intelligent,
competent,go
rgeous and
all
the positive
adjectives.

P.S.:
WALANG
HALONG
BOLA. Anyw
ay, what else
could I say
but to
appreciate
the whole
packageof
the seminar,
the lectures,
the venue
and of course
the food.
Though itwas
just a 5-day
undertaking, it
was able to
contain the
equivalent
ofEnglish
1,2,3 and 4
that are being
thought in
how many
semesters
incollege.I
remember the
words of PCI
GIOVANNI
CEJES when
hedelivered
his speech
yesterday. He
made me
recall of my e
xperiencewhe
n
Ma’am Meng
lectured on
one of the
parts of
speech, the
NOUN.
He said that
identifying
noun in a
sentence is
just basic, but
when
hemistakenly
identified
the word “HE”
as a noun. I
had no
reaction but
to
laugh. Why?
Because you
are not alone
sir, I also
identified the
word HEas a
NOUN. We
are
seatmates sir,
you know
what it
means.In my
more than 8
years of
experience as
PNP
personnel, I
wasnot only
exposed in
works on the
field but also
in
administrative
works. And
I realized that
this kind of
undertaking
is very
relevant in all
kinds ofpolice
works: in both
field and
administrative
jobs. As a
police officer,
wehave to be
good in
communicatio
n, both in
written and
spokencomm
unication. Me
must at least
know the
basics in
grammar
whetherwe
like it or not.
Because
there will
always be a
situation that
our skill
inEnglish will
be tested and
challenged,
maybe in
writing a
letter,
amemorandu
m and even
in testifying in
courts as
witness for
the Peopleof
the Philippine
s.This 5-day
course was
able to attain
its ultimate
objective. If I
were
to describe
this course in
one word, I
would say
“SPECTACU
LAR”.
I just can’t
imagine that a
thing that can
be learn
ed for a
longperiod of
time can be
possibly
catered in just
5 days.
SPECTACUL
AR.This
course had
catered our
learning
needs.To my
fellow
students, let
’
s duplicate
what we had
learned in
thisundertaki
ng.Thank you
and God
bless us all!

First of all I would like to congratulate all of the students here including myself for finally
graduating.
Every end has a new beginning. Today might be the last day for some of us as students, but I
believe our learning will actually start from today. Every little encounters and experiences
