Consultation
Mr. Bilal ahmed khan who is the senior manager at the firm named as “Farm to Home” on
March 28 2021. After the phone call the firm was visited for a meeting to discuss the needs of
the client as well as the strategy needed to be opted in order to achieve the target.

Client Bio
Farm to Home originally started the business in some areas of Peshawar Pakistan. The main
business theme of the client is to provide fresh vegetables, fruits and dairy items to the people of
Peshawar at a reasonable price. The company now aims to expand the business to the
neighboring twin cities i.e., Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The big challenge that the client is facing
is that they are lack of budget and advertisement in the targeted area. Strategies and needed steps
were discussed with the senior management in order to achieve the client`s goal.

Competition
The model of the client`s business is a unique and different to others. The client has no direct
competition at present but maybe with passage of time the client may have competitors. The
client is willing to spread awareness in the targeted market to ensure they get the benefits for
their unique business model. The client is also hopeful that as the world is struggling with the
covid situation their business model is the need of the time. Islamabad and Rawalpindi are the
best market to target as the cities have no long distances. All the client need is proper marketing
and social media campaign.

Challenges
As the business model of the client is very unique and new it will require a larger budget as well
as workforce. Moreover, a good and productive marketing campaign is necessary. The client
needs to deliver the message to the target market through the medium of electronic media and
social media.
Aims
The aims that are finalized by the firms are
 Increase the consumers
 To develop app alongside the website
 Provide good service in order to make a good name for themselves

Objectives
 The long-term objectives of this proposal will be to introduce / demonstrate / make
available safe and healthy production of vegetables at household level
 The short-term objectives of the proposal will be achieved by producing fresh and cheap
vegetables through involvement of male and female members of the communities of
urban areas of Islamabad/ Rawalpindi and their capacity building

Key performance indicators


 The key performance indicators that are to be followed in the process are mentioned
below
 The first indicator is the traffic on the website after promotion
 The second indicator is to check the likes, views and reviews on the official site of the
firm
 The third indicator will be total difference in the no of reach to the site
 The fourth indicator will be to develop a portfolio of the whole scenario taken into
consideration

Market Research
Supplying straight from the farms
Market research for the business of the client yield that there are no such competitors in the
market and the market is quite saturated for the business to be prosper. A systematic planning is
required in all the stages of the ongoing market research. The purpose of the research is to state
true state of affairs of the project. The client believes that the there is a great potential in the
market of the twin cities.
Target Audience
The main target of the client is the areas which are interlinked and near to each other. The areas
which are targeted by the client are DHA, Bahria, Westridge and all the sectors of Islamabad.
The social sites of the client`s firm will help the consumers to connect and communicate with the
firm directly. It is quite visible that the majority of the consumers of the targeted area prefer
online shopping rather than physically going for it. The website also have the feature of language
translation that is English and Urdu names of the products.

Strategic Plan
The strategic plan discussed in the meeting was that we will first distribute pamphlets of the
client`s firm. After the distribution of pamphlets, we will start social media campaign to
maximize the client`s publicity. Some societal groups and clubs of these targeted audience will
be informed through WhatsApp, Facebook and twitter. Interactions with the consumers to
understand their needs and demands.

Website
As the client`s firm is providing online service through website and online ordering. The website
plays a very prominent role in the success of such companies. The website needs to be resistant
to excessive traffic to the website. The client`s targeted audience age is around 30-50 as the
groceries are the concern of the elderly members of the family. As people of these age may lag in
using the website so the website needs to be simple and according to the consumers
understanding.
Targeted audience should be invited to the Inauguration ceremony of the firm at the official
headquarters in the twin cities. This will not only help the client in spreading the company`s
name but also help the consumers to take a survey of what the company is offering and how is
the company`s environment.

Social Media
Now this is what the main task of our whole discussion i.e., marketing through social media to
expand the business. Website link will be integrated with social media to spread the message.
This will help the client to dive greater traffic to the website. The company`s profile would be
created at every online forum. Digital sign boards can be used as well if the budget is enough to
do so. WhatsApp and Facebook groups will be created in order to drive more and more people to
the website. The decorated website and online promotion will increase the brand name. improved
brand name will boost the sales and would eventually stabilize the business in the new market as
well. Once the client`s company goes viral they can earn through promoting contents and ads of
other brands as well.

Establishing Budget
Social media is a place where much closer connections with customers can be made. Therefore
the right budget for the social media campaign should be allocated in order get the customer
attention. Budget with the right marketing strategy will be most cost effective to reach the
targeted audience. Social media is considered among the most important components of
marketing nowadays.

Create Content
Content in social media marketing means the right posting of products and services at the right
time. So, content sharing and uploading needs to be scheduled. The correct timing of posts will
bring the right customers to the firm site. Hashtag marketing is now excelling on the social
media platform so it would be good adopting it for marketing purposes.
Create Community
As the client`s needs and target are the elder members of the family who are concerned with
groceries and household items. It would be very beneficial to create community groups for them
on social media. The consumers can interact with the company as well as share their experience
with others. Sharing this will help the new customers to trust the company`s credibility and the
products they offer.

Use of Chatbots
Once the customers get to use to the community groups the chatbots will be introduced on the
official to answer the frequently asked questions by the customers. The chatbots will answer
such questions which will save the time and energy.

Personalized Experience for Consumers


With the use of chatbots the interaction with the consumers can be more personalized and will
help to build a fanbase of the company. The link of the website will be linked to the pages which
will take the customers to the chatbots directly.

Planning for Future


This is the last and most important step of action plan. Every plan is started by keeping the end
result or future in mind. By expanding the business from one city to two new cities the long term
goal is that the company will excel and in return the company will payoff to the society. This
will not only create job opportunities but will also help the people who are unable to go out for
shopping for any reason.
