    Description:
    Novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) nucleic acid diagnostic kit (PCR Fluorescent Probing) is used for qualitative
    detection of the E, N and RpRd genes of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as well as internal control for
    extraction quality control.

    Method:
    Viral RNA extraction – purification and performed with CE, IVD approved kit. Coronavirus RNA were tested
    with CE, IVD approved Real Time RT PCR kit & Real Time PCR machine.

    Interpretation:
    Threshold cycle" (Ct) or "Crossing Point": is the indicator for semi-quantitative measurement of virus when
    fluorescence crosses the PCR cycle number. “The higher the Ct, the smaller the initial amount of DNA/RNA in
    the specimen.
    Ct≤ 20: An indicator of probable VERY HIGH levels of virus in the specimen.
    20<Ct<28: An indicator of probable HIGH levels of virus in the specimen.
    28<Ct<34: An indicator of probable MODERATE levels of virus in the specimen.
    Ct≥34: An indicator of probable LOW levels of virus in the specimen.
    Weakly Positive: A marker of probable VERY LOW levels of virus in the specimen, near the levels to be
    undetectable.
    Negative/ Undetectable: Indicates that the pathogen may present at a level below the lower limit of this assay.
