To pursue one’s heart is like hunting down an elusive prey. I have captured my passion.
Undoubtedly, my heart desires to pursue the study of law; jurisprudence is my true passion. One
has to fight a lot of battles to overcome the slothfulness and inertia of our inner nature on the
way to become a professional in the true sense of this word – that is my life’s maxim.
I would like to start my story by revealing that I pursued a major in Mathematics and
Education eventually graduating with a Criminal Justice major. After receiving my Paralegal
Certificate, a year after receiving my bachelor’s degree, I can confidently say it has been a
journey worth taking. Studying is like scaling a face of the rock – it requires every ounce of your
being – free time, free leisure, and pleasure – you sweat bullets learning new concepts, laws, and
precepts.
on the lives of downtrodden people through legal expertise and professional tips. I believe that
my time investment and efforts will produce a positive impact on countless lives in this
worldwide time of calamity and uncertainty. It is in my DNA to yearn for the protection and
well-being of less fortunate others. For me, a life well-lived is a life where at least one person
experiences during my college and post-graduate life helped me to come to grips with my
unquenching desire to make a difference in the lives of others through legal positive support.
Beyond the shadow of any doubt, my zeal to study law is a gateway to new experiences –
there are new ways to take, discoveries to be made in the immensity of legal dimensions.
Ultimately, my passion will take me down the road to get enrolled at the law school so that I
could fulfill my life-long dream of starting my law firm together with my younger brother who is

also passionate about becoming a law expert. As soon as I graduate, I want to start my own legal
practice and engage with real people in the real world. The world can be a tough and lonely place
–and if I and my brother can help somebody up that is a real bonus beyond any financial boon or
inner self-satisfaction. Honestly speaking, I am appreciative of the fact that there are numerous
types of law one can study as it opens the door to an abundant number of opportunities and
I have a wide range of experiences in the legal field from an unpaid intern at the local
District Attorney’s office in my college town, to a junior paralegal at a large defense litigation
firm in Atlanta, Georgia, to one of the first paralegals at a start-up firm in Atlanta, Georgia.
These job opportunities opened up my eyes to the vastness of legal practice. After my fair share
of nursing home litigation cases, I found myself falling in love with the idea of becoming a civil
attorney after my studies. Needless to say, there is still a significant amount of decision-making
left when it comes to my law career, but my path is cut for me – it is the law and nothing else!
One of the qualities that I pride myself on is my work ethic, and the determination to succeed at
Frankly speaking, this is my second attempt to apply to law school, but I have never been
this confident that I will succeed this time. Sadly, I was rejected last year and not accepted into
the school of my dreams; it happened on the day of orientation because of class size capacity
restrictions. Admittedly, I was upset and downcast for a while but then I was able to bring my act
together repeat my other life’s slogan “everything happens for a reason” – so instead of being
discouraged, I asked myself what I could improve on to succeed in accomplishing my goal next
time. I decided to sign up for a Kaplan Course, I took more hours for studies, took multiple

thing I knew, I scored EIGHT points higher on my LSAT than I did last year! My dogged
perseverance and undying determination to work no matter paid off! With this resilience and
commitment, I want to make a difference among students and faculty at the law program of your
university.
University School of Law. Your school has what it takes in preparing students for a highly
prestigious program! I would be honored to study at such a highly diverse student and faculty
population! Truth be told, the university’s extravagance of academic programs, courses, and

Lawyers Association and becoming involved in Pro Bono & Public Services option. If I may say
so, I would be an excellent addition to the incoming class because I am a highly motivated,
purpose-driven, and intellectual individual, that will continue to create a positive impact on other
students, professors, and the law program at Georgia State University at large. If granted
admission, I will ensure that I represent the university and law program in a highly respectable
