was the most populated barangay in the 2007, 2010 and 2015 censuses. Its 2015

population is 13,530.The 2010 population data from the CBMS was used to analyze

the distribution of Candelaria’s population by age and sex. According to the data

obtained, there was an almost 1:1 ratio of males to females in the municipality in

2010. Of the total household population 55,184 were males and 55,149 were females.

In Candelaria Quezon area, females are the one who are buying the most in terms of

clothes. As we see in every market, they sell more than female products like clothes

than male.

ventilate the clothes to not have a bad odor due to the heat and it will benefited the

costumes because they will have a refresh trip inside the shop. Also, we will provide

browse, or search whether it is for emergency, or they are bored and also to give them

an enjoyable moment while they are buying products and we can use it to post online

to promote our products.

3.1.3 Economic Conditions

Candelaria has numerous wholesale and retail businesses especially that the

locality is rapidly urbanizing. This is evident along the main streets of Poblacion

where commercial establishments are proliferating. Most of them are restaurants,

bakeries, grocery stores, hardware, hotels and other real estate businesses. Also in

other barangays there are a lot of small sari-sari stores that offer a wide range of

grocery products like canned goods, hygienic products and many more. At present,

there is a total inventory of 812 registered commercial establishments. Most

prominent of these are wholesale, retail trade, and real estate leasing. Also, Candelaria

Quezon have a many branch of expensive clothing lines in different area, therefore we

offer a clothing line that is affordable with quality types and style.

3.1.4 Political legal Conditions

The government in the town of Candelaria will control the business clothing line

named UKAYUNIK. This shop will follow some rules and regulations that indicated

in the law in business industry.

Registered Business Name

This includes the approval certifications of the business like barangay clearance

for authorized permit on the business, permit from the municipalities is also important

to considered.

Law and regulations

Law and regulations before entering the industry must be considered as the

business has lots of legal details, reports and requirements.

State or local taxes

An obligation by the business as part of the town's governance.

Proper Waste Disposal

This must be considered for business, For the safety of our health and that of our

customers. We need to consider the cleanliness to avoid a bacteria.

3.2 Condition of Specific Environment

3.2.1 Supply and Demand

The town of Candelaria industry has grown continuously. Ukay-ukay items are

inferior goods. There are some wearers of ukay-ukay clothing who would not want to

admit that what they are wearing is not an ukay-ukay. A new and original brand is

still a status symbol in for the consumers. Given that their income increases, they

would still prefer to wear a new item, and not an ukay-ukay. Fashion Thrift will have.

Candelaria is an agro-industrial Municipality this means the supply of Candelaria in

ukay-ukay is small so that the supply is not limited, it still need to get a lot of supplies

in other place.

X. ASSESSMENT RISK

10.1 Potential Risks

Product risk

It is the risk that you may not actually be able to deliver the product to market

within the resources (time, money) that you have available to you. And if you do

deliver the product, the risk is also in that the product may not work exactly as well as

hoped or promised or envisioned. It may happen because of the loss of supplies.

Market Risk

Market risk is the risk that the market will not accept your product or service

after you launch it. Parts of the risk are that you may not be able to out-market your

competition in the current market, or that the customers you are going after may not

really like or buy the product or service that you will be selling for whatever reason.

In our case usually customers don’t want the original and natural tastes of drinks

instead they usually bought drinks made from artificial and powder mix with

chemicals.

Price Risk
Probability of loss occurring from adverse movement in the market price of

an asset. Sometimes price risk occurs when customers not meet the costs of the

product. In this case it will affect the price of products, it means manager will need to

low their prices. But sometimes it needs to be high because of the loss of suppliers.

Failure to achieve sales forecasts

Sales people not having sufficient knowledge of the details of specific

deals, and/or (nearly as bad) failing to enter that information into the sales

forecasting system. A lack of personal accountability on the part of individual

sales people as to their responsibilities for accurate sales forecasting. We

possible experience this because some of the customers are don’t like our

product that’s why it will possible effect on our sale.

Price cutting by competitors

When a competitor cuts prices, your competitive edge is to double the value

of what you're offering in a way that is meaningful for your target customer. There are

many ways to do this, including expediting delivery, offering additional payment

plans, or simply improving your customer service experience. We possible experience

this because other business are offer their price in to lower to attract customers, it will

make our product not attractive because of the lower price of their product.

10.2 Strategies for Preventing or Minimizing Risks

Transfer Risk through Management of Suppliers A risk transfer program helps

your business avoid financial vulnerability to damages and claims due to liabilities

caused or contributed to by others. Without effective risk transfer, decisions of

liability are often made after the fact, in court. It is much better to have such decisions

documented in writing and at the beginning of a business relationship. Legal

agreements can be designed to assistyou in transferring risk. Work with a qualified

attorney familiar with product liability law to draft these agreements at the beginning

of a business relationship.

Reduce Risk from Product Failure

Reduce risk from product failure and warranty claims by implementing a

quality assurance program. Develop a system of reporting from customer service to

identify problems. Structure the quality assurance program to document production

tasks and product testing. Link the problems reported by customer service to specific

failures in production or testing procedures and institute corrective action.

Reducing Price Risk

One of the most straightforward mechanisms in reducing price risk is involves

in the purchase of a futures contract, guaranteeing a particular price at a certain point

in time. In this case, the price is guaranteed and no unexpected loss can occur. Of

course, no gain based on favorable price changes can occur either. Another option is

to enter a short sale against an investment that you believe performs inversely to the

commodity that you wish to hedge. In so doing, the gain you experience in the decline

of the short sale can offset price increase in your commodity. There are other

commodity hedge options, so research the best one to suit your needs.

Reduce Customer Loss

Bad service, broken promises, and less- than- satisfactory products are all top

reasons that lead to customer churn. The best way to identify the challenges your

customer’s face before they tell you is to assess their behavior when using/eating your

product. Many small businesses don’t run adequately targeted campaigns, despite the

fact that targeting is one of online advertising’s primary advantages. Indeed, you

should be able to create an accurate target customer profile based on the data you’ve
collected. With this information in hand, and what you know about your current

customers, you can begin to target similar demographics and psycho graphics with

your campaigns to attract more customers.

Minimize Your Customer Service Cost without Making It Bad

Customer service is that type of service which always requires you to put

your all in making customers happy and then make them stay. A good customer

service team will need to be trained regularly too. It’s not that they are not good

enough that they need more training. It is because a good support representative needs

to be empowered with customer data, feedback, and support query log frequently.

This is to better connect with each customers on all levels including their impression

in your company

10.3 Response to Risks Should They Occur

• The business owner’s should approach new supply of product.

• Using a new social media platform we enable to evaluate and monitor the supply of

the product.

• Business owners need to know how their competitors are operating their business, to

ensure the quality, supply of the product.

• Evaluating each option for potential reduction in the risk and cost of implementing

the option.

• The business owner’s should be itemized and analyzed to the project plan.

• The management should notify the implication of the cost and time. • Build action

plan that can be mobilized the occurrence of the risk.

• Reduce the impact of the risk on the critical success factors of the business.
CHAPTER XI. TIME TABLE
UKAYUNIK want’s to be a strong and efficient business on town . Thus the
entrepreneurs will see with it that the tasks for the formation and operating of the
business will be complied.
