1. Aim
Determination of anthracene concentration in an unknown sample .
2. Introduction
Fluorescence spectroscopy is a type of
electromagnetic spectroscopy that analyzes
fluorescence from a sample. Fluorescence is a
type of luminescence caused by photons exciting
a molecule, raising it to an electronic excited
state.

5. Conclusion
In this experiment, we used the Fluorescence Emission Spectrometry method
experiment to measure the concentration of anthracene .we used linear equation
which is showing a linear relationship between intensity and concentration .by
plotting the results ,the relation be shown easily.
We can summary the experiment in few sentences,
• Fluorescence spectrometry is a fast, simple and inexpensive method to determine
the concentration of an analyte in solution based on its fluorescent properties.
• Fluorescence spectroscopy is used in biochemical, medical, and chemical
research fields for analysing organic compounds .
