Tsurumi's agitator pumps are ideal for quarry and gravel pit
drainage. Abrasive resistant three-phase and single-phase
pumps are available with either cast iron or synthetic rubber
casings, and come complete with high chrome agitators,
impellers, and suction covers.

NEW KTD A cast iron made, heavy-duty slurry pump employing the KTZ series as the base

NEW Tsurumi Agitator Pump KTD Series is a cast iron made, heavy-duty slurry pump
employing the KTZ Series as the base. An agitator is provided to assist smooth suction
of the pumping fluid. The side-flow, top-discharge design keeps the motor cooling even
if the pump is operated continuously with its motor exposed in air, and it makes the
pump easier to place in a confined space.
KTD Series is suitable for transferring or draining bentonite slurry used for slurry
drilling, draining slurry mixed water in civil engineering works or foundation works.

GPN A special-steel impeller and suction plate have greatly increased the pump’s life
• Transferring or draining bentonite slurry in slurry-assisted bored piling or diaphragm wall
construction.
• Draining water containing cement slurry, mud, and sand at a construction or civil engineering work.
Agitator • Draining aggregate wash water at a quarry or ore wash water at a mining.
• Collecting sediments at the grit chamber in a wastewater treatment plant.
• Transferring water containing iron scale in a steel work.

Agitator
The agitator mounted on the motor shaft-end facilitates efficient suction of the settled slurry,
sand, or mud.
Suction Plate
A suction plate mechanism is adopted in the GPN series pumps. If the performance drops due to
wearing out of the suction plate, restoration of the performance is possible by replacing the suction
plate only. It will not be necessary to replace the whole suction cover part. For the GPN622 model,
it is possible to adjust the impeller clearance (to move the suctionplate closer to the impeller) by
merely tightening or loosening six (6) bolts, by which the dropped performance can be restored.
