The emotional gratification will be knowing deep down that the person in question is fulfilling his duty
toward his country. During the process of motivation and gratification, people gain experience and
derived perceptions, and the beliefs/loyalty gradually form.All Frenchmen are permanently
requisitioned for service into the armies. Young men will transport munitions; women will make tents
and clothing and serve in hospitals; children will make lint from old linen; and old men will be brought to
the public squares to arouse the courage of the soldiers, while preaching the unity of the Republic and
hatred against the Kings.
