A hierarchical system is used for classifying organism to the species levels, this
system is called taxonomical classification. the broadest classification are by domain
and kingdom, the most specific classification is by genus and species. the hierarchical
groupings in between include phylem, class, family and order.

a. Table with non-numerical data:

In the early 1900's, many botanist recognized four main groupings of plants.
These are the Thallophyta, the Bryophyta, the Peridophyta, and the Spermatophyta.
The Thallophyta included the bacteria, the algae and the fungi. These are organisms
with a thallus body structure, meaning with no true roots, stems and leaves. The
Bryophyta included the mosses and the liverworts, also without roots, also without
roots, stems and leaves but different from the Thallophyta in some ways, one which
was the development of the fertilized egg cell in to an embryo within byrophyta
female structure rather than outside the plant body. the Peridophyta consisted of the
ferns, cycads, maidenhair tree, those with true roots, stems, and leaves and with a
fluid-conducting or vascular system composed of specialized xylem and phloem
vessels. The Spermatophyta were the seed-producing plants and the flower-bearing
plants.
