who possess these skills can help solve a company’s problems and improve its overall productivity and
success.
Communication skills: A Business analyst needs to communicate with clients and coworker
properly.Being able to communicate effectively is perhaps the most important of all life skills. It is what
enables us to pass information to other people, and to understand what is said to us.
Leadership Skill:Effective leaders have the ability to communicate well, motivate their team, handle and
delegate responsibilities, listen to feedback, and have the flexibility to solve problems in an ever-changing
workplace.
Language Skill: For a Multinational company, it is very important for a business analyst to communicate
properly in English.
Knowledge
Computer Knowledge: One of the most important knowledge for A business analyst is to understand
basic programs, such as Microsoft Word, and knowing how to take full advantage of the program’s

features, are essential. Poor computer literacy will leave a person less efficient and effective, and less
likely to fulfill their potential. Additionally, if your computer skills are poor, your clients will suspect that

Gap Analysis:
As I believe in our country there is a huge lacings of leadership skill, when a turbulent situation arrived,
people are not likely to lead rather continue to play blame game. People in our country have the tendency
to follow rule and they do not like to think out of the box. Also the have lacings on software knowledge
And the major gap I believe is communication gap specially in English.
