QUALITY SYSTEM SCOPE
Document Introduction
Purpose

This Quality Management system procedures describes the quality management system
at Dresser/BPE and addresses the specific requirements of the ISO-9000:2000 standard.
The document states our Quality policy and expresses our management’s commitment
to. ADD DRESSER QUALITY POLICY

Structure
The quality management system defines the documentation structure of our quality
management system and provides a cross-reference to procedures as described. In
addition, the matrix serves as a reference document for our internal quality auditors and
third party auditors that assess our quality management system for certification
purposes.

Scope

The scope of the quality management system covers all functions and activities related
to the design, production, and distribution of our products.

Dresser/BPE is one of several facilities making up the Dresser/Natural Gas Solutions

(NGS) business unit whose parent is Dresser Inc. headquartered in Dallas, TX. Each
business unit is a manufacturer and marketer of highly engineered equipment and
specialized services sold primarily to customers in energy-related industries.

All facilities operate on an autonomous basis. Each facility is responsible for its own
profit and loss performance and its own organizational structure and/or organization
charts.

Dresser/BPE:
Designs and assembles complete valve systems including actuation and
instrumentation systems for energy applications.

By products from the Elk Grove Village facility include scrap metals, cardboard, wood
pallets, waste oils, and general garbage.
