Give two examples of each information disorder.

I. Mal-information

- The information on the new strain of the corona virus was used by rebels as a
propaganda to spread fear and unrest amongst places that are very far from
civilization.
- The news about the prison escapee who is going on a rape rampage in the
province of Bohol, induced a province-wide scare amongs the residents.

II. Misinformation

- A mistake on the counting of votes declared the wrong candidate the winner of
the elections. Later on, contributing to confusion and allegations of cheating in
the elections.
- The announcement date on the release of the TES was mistakenly announced
by the SAO director. Instead of Friday, it was announced Wednesday leading
into parents of the beneficiary going to the campus for nothing.

III. Disinformation

- A black propaganda of group of pro-Duterte supporters, spread the news that the
CPP-NPA are recruiting members inside prestigious schools in the Philippines.
- A group of “Marites” in the road are spreading fake rumors about their neighbor
who just got pregnant.
