An action is a “just act” if it does not contradict to the norms of morality. To determine the morality
of the act, both the act itself and intention must be morally good. There are factors that serve to measure
the morality of an act. These factors are called the determinants of morality which consist the end of the
act, end of the doer, and the circumstances of the act. Let us take the current situation in the teaching-
learning aspect of the society as an example and determine when an act is a just act. It is a known fact that
not all students favors learning online for some reasons. It is new for them, maybe they don’t fit their
learning styles and they are not ready for it. However, the health protocols must be followed, hence, the
implementation of online classes. The natural purpose of the studying is to learn. Now, because the
demands of online learning is high, students’ perform acts of cheating.
