Subject Taught: Macroeconomics Class Schedule: Monday & Wednesday (10:30-
11:30), Thursday (1:30-2:30)

I. Objectives:

At the end of 60 minutes, the students will be able to:

 Cognitive
o Understand the macroeconomic policy which is fiscal policy
 Psychomotor
o Provide their own opinion towards our country’s fiscal policy
 Affective
o Realize the effects of fiscal policy to us as citizens.

II. Subject Matter:

Topic: Fiscal Policy


Lesson: Fiscal Policy and its types
Reference: Investopedia, Wikipedia and Youtube
Materials: Laptop, mobile phones and internet connection
Methodology: Online distance learning, Reflective learning and discussion
Values Integration: Cooperation and participation.
Time Allocation: 60 minutes

III. Procedure:

A. Preparation
Provide the link of the virtual meet earlier than the time period so that students can now slowly
enter the meeting. Then check whether the students are all in the meet already. To start, formally
ask the one student to lead the opening prayer, then it will be followed by the greetings. Then ask
the monitors as well to check the attendance. Then quickly brief them about the proper online
class netiquette.
B. Review
Ask the students to recapitulate the lesson that was given to them by the previously and ask
questions about it.

C. Motivation
Post a word the word TAX on the screen and ask the students to give at least one word that you
can associate to that word. At least one word per student will be enough. Then praise the students
for participating, then after that introduce them the title and topic of today’s lesson.

D. Activities
Before giving the content of the lesson, read first the learning objectives and remind them that
the learning objectives will be achieved if they will participate and cooperate in the online class
discussion. Then the discussion will start with the help of the handout that were given the day
prior and via the PowerPoint presentation. Ask questions here and there in between discussions.

E. Abstraction
After the discussion ask the students, about what they’ve learned with the lesson.

F. Application
Ask the students on the things that they’ve realized in the lesson and how can they apply the
knowledge that they’ve learned about Fiscal Policy in their lives.

IV. Activity/Assessment

For 50 points.

SLOGAN MAKING
Create a creative slogan that talks about the importance of fiscal policy to our country
and economy. Put your slogan in a 1 whole short bondpaper, landscape orientation. You can
manually make your slogans by hand (just send a picture) or create a digital one.

Criteria:
Content and Relevance – 25
Creativity – 25
Total – 50

V. Assignment

Read in advance about the “International Trade Policies and Practices”.
