INSIGHTS

Collaborative learning is a situation in which two or more people learn something together.Unlike
individual learning, people engage in collaborative learning capitalize on one another resources and
skills (asking one another for information, evaluating one's another ideas, monitoring one's another
work and etc.). More specifically collaborative learning is based on the model that based knowledge can
be created within a population where members actively interact by sharing experiences and take on
assymetry roles.

It’s about motivating students not only to learn, but teaching them how to learn, and doing so in a
manner that is relevant, meaningful and memorable. Building relationships is really important in the
classroom. It will help provide a safe environment, which is essential for effective learning. Establishing
this will mean you can watch children grow in confidence, and you should begin to notice that even the
more reserved children are prepared to have a go and try things out.

Collaborative learning is the educational approach of using groups to enhance learning to working
together to solve problems, complete tasks, or learn new concepts. Collaborativeness has been linked to
greater learning, emotional maturity, and strong personal identity. Children often become more flexible
in their thinking and willingness to invent creative solutions. The result is enjoyment, personal
confidence and a feeling of self-worth.
