DIRECTIONS
At tire Sprinkling of Hflly Water.

The Antiphon, Pfalm, and Gloria Patri are begun by the Precentor, and continued
by the Choir. At the end of the Pfalm-verfe, the Precentor again intones the Antiphon,
the Choir continuing. At the end of Gloria Patri, (which is never .omitted, even in
Paffion-tide, ) the Precentor begins the Antiphon at the words' Thou thalt wath me,'
( or in Pafchal-tide 'and all they,' ) the remainder being fung by the Choir.
At the Office or Introit.

The Antiphon, pfalm & Gloria Patri are intoned by the Rulers as far as the-
the Choir continuing. The Antiphon is fung thrice on all Sundays and Feftivals,
viz: beiore and after the PfaIm, and after Gloria Patri. On Feria. (t.g. Aih Wednefday),
it is fung twice only - at the beginning and end of the Introit. The Tones and
Endings of the Gloria Patri are given once {or all at pp. ~-4.
