Introduction
Overview
This CTH Guidance for Centre Markers and Internal Verifiers document outlines the processes
which CTH expects its approved Centres to follow to ensure that their marking and internal
verification processes are adhered to at all times. This guidance is therefore intended to provide
guidance and support for those who are assessing, giving feedback and/or are internal verifying
to
ensure that the assessment of students is conducted accurately, fairly and consistently, and
applies
to all Centres approved for teaching and delivering all CTH Management programmes
(Certificates
and Diplomas).
The document has been drawn up to adhere to the Ofqual General Conditions of Recognition
and
makes guidance available to those responsible for managing a CTH Centre and all its teaching
and
administrative staff.
It is important that all Centre staff responsible for assessing learners’ work are fully aware of the
contents of this document in addition to the CTH Assessment Strategy, the CTH Malpractice
and
Maladministration Policy, and the CTH Sanctions Policy. The current versions of these
documents
are available on the CTH Members website.
