Description :
Bardiglio is an old denomination for grey-coloured
marble from the Carrara area. These are very fine-
grained carbonate rocks with an average grain size of 0.5
mm. Enrichments of graphite (generated from organic
carbon) cause the in intensity varying grey shade. In the
light to dark-grey stria-clouded surfaces appear white
veins free from graphite, as well as dark-grey to black
structures.
